2022 WCQ: Black Stars Striker Ayew Goes 10 Games Without Scoring

Black Stars of Ghana striker Jordan Ayew’s goals drought continues as he fired blanks in Crystal Palace goalless draw at struggling Brentford.

Ayew, who was on from the start of the match, was later replaced with 13 minutes left to play.

The 30-year-old has now failed to score in his last 10 games for both club and country.

The last time Ayew found the back of the net was 15th December 2021, when he scored one of Palace’s goals in their 2-2 home draw against Southampton.

So far this season in the Premier League, he has netted just one goal in 22 games played for Crystal Palace.

He was a member of the Black Stars squad that crashed out at the group stage of this year’s AFCON in Cameroon.

He featured in all the group games as the Black Stars recorded one of their worst campaigns at the AFCON.

His scoring form would be a concern for the Black Stars coaching crew, as they look ahead to next month’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

And so what? Is he the only BS striker? What a shameless ploy to make the SE relax. Even their AFCON exit is a group act. The BS remains a brutal, physical, lethal team not to be handled with kid-gloves.

Don’t mind them. This how they underrated the Tunisians because we beat Egypt and topped the group.
BS are ever ready for Nigeria and they know how to beat them any time any day irrespective of their poor performance s at the AFCON. Most especially with well established and experienced coaches employed to handle the team.
For all these jobless journalists writing or informing us of which of their players having goal drought is of no use to us. That was how they gave us a very ugly and a devastating picture of the situation in the camp of the Tunisians that later hurt every SE supporters.
This time around any attempt to judge the BS with their last outing will amount to another heartbreak. Let’s just hope BS have a bad day for us to overcome them.
Their game plan was to beat SE with even 1.0 then go to Nigeria to get a draw. Our coaches should up their game and be smart in these games. God bless the SE with victory.

@Kanga no mind this confused and corrupt people instead of reporting exploits of Nigerian players all over the globe, they are here deceiving themselves talking down a player that is very skillful and unlucky in front of goal. Make them give am chance and see if it won’t amount into a Goal!

CS should start giving us news of unknown and fringe Nigerian players, over the weekend I saw forgotten Rabiu Ibrahim and some players doing well, yet this partial news outlet will easily make you forget about players who refuses to grease their palms. Egunje is ruining our country from national team to media outlets. Only Jesus Christ can save us as a Nation. Today Anthony Izuchukwu will be in action for Hapoel Haifa and I’m sure they’ll not be keeping tab in this regards to help source more helping hands to move our football forward instead they’ll be sticking with the old horses that are weighing out.

I pray we’ll get a new sports media that will do a better job in creating awareness and positive growth to our sports.

Rabiu Ibrahim or what do you call him? @Chima you don start again o. If Izuchukwu is that good he won’t be plying his trade in Israel by now bro. Please leave the scouting job for the coaches who were paid to do the job. CSN is not SE scout either

Did I say they should invite Rabiu? Dumbo read well. I said they should be give round up on all performing players fringe or important.

That’s the Black Stars business if Ayew scores or not. He could redeem his image against Nigeria.
