The Eagles will play away against Sao Tome and Príncipe on Monday, June 13, at their Moroccan makeshift home in Marrakech.

While the Eagles recorded a 2-1 comeback win against Sierra Leone in their first game of the qualifiers on Thursday, São Tomé and Principe were hammered 5-1 by Guinea-Bissau.

Yes I agree with u but Sao Tome wil score 2 goals before eagles score the 5 goals

  • Please super eagles should try emulate Japan in there win over Ghana.. There’s a lot to gain when interchanging of passes, instead of following the mentality of Africa football that has to do wit physicality.. We can change that approach and downplay it with passess. Actually I don’t think there will be need of a defensive midfielder if we do it that way. We’re blessed with Talented player but all needs to cover up for each other.
    Thank you

Well said Brodaman @CFM. You are one of the few contributors that make me come here to comment on anything Nigerian football. Our rotten teeth administrators make me feel disappointed. Yes we should pass the ball to others quickly like Japan. Heaven bless all deserving Super Eagles players.

If Super Eagles play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 the classic tictic I think they can beat Sao Tome & Principe 6 or 7 goals; Peseiro must line-up as follows:- Uzoho; Awaziem,Balogun,Omeruo,Bassey;Etebo,Aribo; Iwobi,Moses,Chukwueze;Osimhen.Reserves must be Adeleye,Ajayi,Shehu,Sanusi,Lookman,Dennis,Onyeka,Dessers.

@ Hassan Tia,which awaziem? A player who has lost form completely, abeg ooo. If we concede against Sao tome come monday,it means we will never achieve anything in football. Wonder y we keep having flat footed defenders lately especially our 5&6. The react to slow to pressure, the are only superior on heading the ball. we need to get good 5&6 cos ekong and Ajayi are suspects.chukuweze is overrated whether we like it or not. Pull out is zero, dribble self an fluke, shot na zero, open net self na anoda yakubu
