2023 U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles Must Fight Hard To Beat Gambia — Bosso

2023 U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles Must Fight Hard To Beat Gambia — Bosso

Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso has said his side will be up for the fight against Gambia on Monday.

Bosso’s side will need to be at their best to beat the Young Scorpions, who are unbeaten in the competition.

Abdoulie Bojang’s side have scored nine goals without conceding in the competition.

Bosso stated that his players are battle ready for the semi-final encounter.

“I’m happy to be back in Cairo once again after we played the last two matches in Ismailia,” Bosso was quoted by CAFonline.

“Tomorrow we will face The Gambia who are a strong team and we respect them well but we will work to present a good level to win.

“We lost the first match and we have not lost any match since then.”

The Flying Eagles last won the tournament in 2015 in Senegal and Bosso wants to replicate that feat and secure their eighth continental crown.

“We will face a team that has not been defeated in the tournament,” Bosso added.

“The most important thing for us in the tournament is that we qualified for the World Cup. Now we will fight to win the title.

“There are no big or small teams in football because it’s only performance and result that counts.”

Gambia will fall yakata. Nigeria will win 4 – 0. Evil fans with evil intentions are writing epistles to criticise Bosso. Glorified bloggers calling themselves journalists. More like armchair critics. Bosso is the best, forget the rest.

      Heaven bless Bosso.
Heaven bless Aniagboso, the goalkeeper who inspires confido. I don’t need BP meds whenever he is playing.
Heaven bless all deserving Flying Eagles players.

Make we no look Gambia ayanya ooo.
Underrating Gambia will be a big mistake. They are a good side. They see what their brothers Senegal are doing in football, and they want to do likewise.
We need to see them as a threat. With adequate preparation, they can be subdued.

The Gambia is a good team, but it must respect the hierarchy by entering the ranks! I’m not worried about our youngsters for the win! The only team that can resist us a little is Senegal and we will beat them with a small goal to nil in the final.
      Winner Nigeria
      Finalist Senegal
      Third Gambia
      Fourth Tunisia
This is the logic of the classification!
The Gambians, they have to calm down, in their UFOA zone, he is not the boss, it is rather Senegal who beats them all the time. The Gambia will return to the ranks on Monday evening. She will go and play for the bronze medal. Gold and silver are already reserved.

If Tunisia can beat Senegal I. Don’t mind flying eagles lose to Gambia. All I want is Senegal vs Nigeria….for quick revenge. So if Senegal beat Tunisia.. den flying eagles must beat Gambia. To have a final date with Senegal. So in case Tunisia beat senegal.then flying eagle must help Gambia go to final by scoring themselves or give free penalty to Gambia so that dey meet Senegal to win third place at all cost. .

There’s no qualms my people. I saw their game against Benin and they narrowly won by 1 goal to nil.

    It’s 50/50 anyway.
