It would have been good and boost more confidence if Nnda and Balogun are pàra of this team

  • Good luck guys.

  • Good to see camp start early. A whole 7 days before the match day. No longer 2 or 3 days rushed training. Of course, end of European season factor too. But still, good to see.

  • No one is mentioning why Ekong was left out of the squad, Ekong recently came out to say that he is fit and is suprised he was not included in the recent list for SA and Benin, He said he made sure he did everything to be fit for this game even delayed his return to club because he did not want to aggrevate his injury because he had his eyes on the qualifiers. Here is the best player in AFCON according to CAF fit and being excluded by Finidi and Amokachi (Agent bribe taker) yet Musa was invited by NFF every game for 5 years when he has been out of form and match fitness. So tell me Nigeria what is Finidi’s reason for leaving out the best player in AFCON and opting for a weaker player after Osimhen injury. Yet Ekong just played a charity match and declared he has been fit all along and said maybe the coach has his reasons. What is the coachs reasons for doing this to Nigeria.

I foresee this ogogoro coach having issues with the players. Ekong worked hard to be fit for this game, but I don’t see why Finidi omitted him but let’s sit back and watch. I cannot guarantee 2 wins from these games… No serious coach will have Amokachi as an assistant…..I hope they prove me wrong, but Finidi just seems sketchy to me.

      • @Footballfanatic it is quite Unbearable I mean no Sane coach does that Leave your Best at home when fit. If Osimhen is Injured our Best NO.9 is Awoniyi even Boniface plays better as a supporting and likes to create so he can play with either Osi or AWoniyi in same team. No coach does that. Look at big nations how many times have you seen inportant players 3 months to the end of a season but still get selected for National teams when fit and are then made fit by national coaches in the 2-3 weeks before the tournament. Our own is that 2 important players Ekong and Awo are fit but Finidi still chooses to select two inexperienced players for maybe the most important game for Nigeria this year a game that yes Is even more important than the AFCON Finals. Abeg Footballfanatic make it make sense to me bros. BEcuase in all honesty these decisions by Finidi is boinling my blood and strikes me as Olise’s treatment of Enyeama and Mikel Obi. It is like these class of 94 have a grudge against our big players. Someone I think @Kel said I have a grudge or hate class of 94. @Kel if you do not resent these people then Bros You do not Like Nigerian Football PERIOD!

I mean Ekong overlooked but he is fit and Nigerians Are Accepting this?. Nawa oooo

I have don’t have any respect for the class of 94 anymore…They are basically living on past glory. Most of them are lazy and deadbeat while their mates in other countries have secured coaching jobs or are in managerial positions in football clubs or their FA doing wonderful jobs but this our set of legends seem like haters who don’t want the young ones to achieve more than them and the ones running our football are stupidly corrupt. Ask how many of them have an UEFA a license or even a B license….Na caf license dem go dey rush to get which is nonsense. Majority of them have none………To make it worse we have a clueless accountant as our football head who believes saving money is everything.

    • Ugo I can’t blame finidi here. Ekong is fit but may not be match fit. He was out for long. If he calls him some people will also blame him for that. We should not read meaning into this. Let ekong begin to play matches and let’s see if finidi will not invite him

      • @Christian Ministries in Nigeria bros there is really no excuses.. I just said Ekong is the best Player in AFCON in his 3rd or 2nd AFCON. Ekong is the Captain. Ekong has big game experience from England Holland and Italy. Ekong is the most experienced player in SE Ekong Played SA in both AFCON’s semi’s 2019 (Scoring the wining Goal) and 2024 AFCON( our Best Defender on the Night along with Aina and Bassey)..

Bros you cannot Say that. the guy just Played a charity match even though the Opposition are not pro’s EKong is fit and can run and defend. The guy also trained with POAK 3 week’s until the end of the season and Played the last game of the season and now this Charity MAtch over the weekend so that is 2 games under his belt and a full week of training before the SA game .

@Christian Ministries in Nigeria why are you supporting this Must we as Nigeria alsways have an explanation for the unexplainable?.. No bros this is basically Handicapping us and you are supporting it. Moreover Musa was called to AFCON after only playing 2 games in a year or so for Club?. No Bros Call Finidi out this is the most Important game for Nigeria Football Period it is really make or break in any aspect you look at it

        • Finidi is setting a very good standard! Ekong that have not play an official competitive football after AFCON. In FOOTBALL WORLD you are as good as your last result NOT based on past glory. This is a seriuos worldcup qualifying match, you can be the best player, if you are not match fit or rusty,it only cost one player to put the team in trouble, by the opponent, By your definition of who is to be call to the team, MUSA too should be called to the TEAM as well lol.

      • Footballfanatic 2 weeks ago

Then by those standards Iheanacho should have never been invited……..When was his last game for Leceister? I hear Iheanacho is going to be the main striker…Make that make sense.

        • @Footballfanatic Well it is Simple Kelechi played 23 games in the Recent Championship season scoring 5goals and 1 assist Kelechi also was the best player in Ghana friendly game.. Kelechi is a better Creator than Iwobi. Kelechi Also changed the tempo of the game when he came on AFCON after our Restricted coach Peseiro did what we were all shoutingIntoduce Kelechi and Moffi and needless to say everytime Kelechi came on in AFCON you asked yourself Why did Perseiro not include him earlier and also out of all players in the team or that List By Finidi Kelechi is the only Free Kick specialist we have. I hope it makes sense.

Now your Turn Make what I asked you make sense seeing as though you thought I was fighting with you. Oya I day wait ooo

          • Footballfanatic 2 weeks ago

Bro the reply was for Christian ministry lol….Sorry I didn’t specify who I was replying to.

Finidi is only interested in rewarding jesters and unserious senior man who leaves the training camp to go hang out with comedians in Uyo for a charity match. Senior man is Finidi’s choir master
This is the same guy that is comfortable warming the bench for an EFL team. Now it’s becoming obvious tge reason for their praises for
Finidi. No wonder Rohr and Pesseiro
decided to turn him into bench senior
    man.Already, Finidi has failed his
    first two major tests..
    (a) discriminatory criteria for selection of players.
    (b) lack of match management as
witnessed in the friendlies when he
benched the hottest player in the team
for bench warmers and left top league
performers on the bench to reward his
    praise singers and choir members.
Now he is encouraging indiscipline and partiality by allowing Ndidi and bench senior man to go meet sabino and co in Uyo while others are sweating it our in Abuja.
Let see his reaction to this overbearing attitude of these spoilt brats.

  • Footballfanatic 2 weeks ago

We might not see Tella in the national team anymore….Seems he is not a fan of Finidi.

  • Larry 2 weeks ago

The Ekong thing just strikes! His club certified him fit for the last match.
Iheanacho played 23 matches mostly as a senior bench warmer and was unused in most of his club last 20 matches. Senior bench man only saw less than 20mins out of a minimum 360 mins in his club last 4 matches.
Chukwueze was not involved in his club games throughout a month and not even considered to travel with the team for their recent friendly..
Awo has played more minutes than these folks within the last month, Ekong club declared him fit..
Funidi thinks this is 1994 where he could hide under mafiaso. If he continues this way he might not stay long on the job. I supported him for the job for continuity and progress but he is a fall guy

Ogbeni off your tv on friday if your hatred for the coach’s selection is giving your headache. They will give you the scores after the game.
