Norway U-20 head coach Bjorn Johansen says he is looking forward to facing the Flying Eagles at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Johansen’s side will come up against Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Colombia in Group F at the World Cup in Chile.
The gaffer recognised the strength of Aliyu Zubairu’s side, who finished third at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt earlier this month.

He also declared that his side will prepare adequately for the competition.
“We had hoped to avoid certain teams, but now we have the opportunity to test ourselves against opponents we haven’t faced often—especially Nigeria, who bring a lot of power and strength,” Johansen said after the draw.
“We have ample time to prepare for our group-stage opponents, and we’re really looking forward to being part of what promises to be an exciting and fantastic tournament.’
Chile will host the biennial competition from 27 September to 19 October, 2025.
