The Super Eagles will hold their first training session in Ikot Ikpene, Akwa Ibom, on Tuesday ahead of Friday’s matchday 1, 2027 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar in Uyo.
This was revealed by the media officer of the Super Eagles Promise Efoghe, on Monday night.
According to Efoghe, the first 15 minutes of the training session will be available for media coverage.
He also disclosed that all the players will meet with the press for exclusive interviews on Wednesday at the team’s base in Ikot Ikpene.
The Super Eagles will open their qualifying campaign against Madagascar on Friday, September 25and will be guests to Guinea-Bissau on matchday 2 on Tuesday, September 29.

The three-time AFCON title champions have won their last three games with Madagascar.
Meanwhile, the Barea of Madagascar have arrived in Uyo ahead of the encounter with the Super Eagles.
The Madagascar delegation, comprising 28 players and officials, landed at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, on Sunday at about 2:05 p.m. and proceeded to their hotel after completing immigration formalities.
Additional members of the delegation are expected to arrive in Uyo on Tuesday.
