A 30-year-old influencer, Fati Vazquez, linked with Barcelona and Spain international youngster Lamine Yamal has revealed she has received death threats.
Fati, a graduate in flight attendance and originally from Galicia in northwest Spain, reportedly spent a weekend with the 17-year-old, which sparked rumours of a romantic relationship.
According to Mundo Deportivo (via The Sun), pictures shared on Instagram by the duo, three days apart, appeared to show them on holiday in the same spot.
Yamal shared pictures on his social media showing him on a boat with a rocky background, while Fati later shared her own snaps to Instagram, also appearing on a boat with a rocky background from another angle.
Also, the Euro 2024 winner shared pictures of himself by an infinity pool, with a tree in the background and canopy.
Meanwhile Fati also shared a post that has an infinity pool, with the same tree and canopy seen in her post too despite the shot taken at a different angle.
The posts by Yamal and Fati led to fans speculating over a possible romance between the pair.
Following the speculations Fati, who has almost 400,000 followers on Instagram and more than 320,000 on TikTok, claimed on social media that she received death threats.
“It’s sad to see people who have such darkness inside that they wish death on someone they don’t even know.
“What others project, speaks more about them than me.
“I choose to live with the purpose of continuing to grow and surrounding myself with light.
“To those who wish me ill, I wish them healing, because nobody who is well in themselves wishes the destruction of another.”
Meanwhile, another influencer, Javi De Hoyos, in a post, denied there is any relationship between Yamal and Fati.
De Hoyos stated that the trip had more than just them there.

“Lamine would not have gone alone to this holiday place but with other Barça team-mates,” De Hoyos stated in a post.
“Fati probably does have something with another Barça person or is a friend of another team-mate.”
Yamal helped Barcelona win the 2024/2025 La Liga title, his second with the club.
Also last season he played a key role as Barcelona clinched both the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.
He is one of the strong contenders for the 2025 Ballon d’Or award but have the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe to beat off.
