/Alex Iwobi was in action for 90 minutes as Everton defeated Arsenal 1-0 in their Premier League clash at the Goodison Park on Saturday.
It was new manager Sean Dyche’s first game in charge of the Toffees.
James Tarkowski scored the winning goal on the hour mark.

Iwobi put up an impressive performance in the thrilling encounter.
The 26-year-old has made 21 league appearances for the Merseysiders this season with one goal and six assists to his name.
The win was Everton’s first in nine league outings.
They moved to 17th position on the table, a point clear of the drop zone.

Iwobi was amazing under in Sean Dyche’s 4-4-2 formation today as an inverted wide-man. Despite popularly held belief, I said at the time and still believe now that in the immediate future, Alex Iwobi will thrive under Sean Dyche and that the English gaffer is the right man for the job at Everton.
Today’s results and Iwobi’s exemplary output are just a taste of what is to come.
Iheanacho playing some brilliant football,one would wonder why a player of the quality i’m seeing this afternoon should accept to sit on the bench for the greater part of the season.

Exact reason I was really mad with Monkey Post for using some unprincipled words on Iheanacho just because one coach who doesn’t know his worth benches him. The boy is just a victim of the Rodgers’s tactics. He knows where Iheanacho flourishes as a striker but the boy has to wait until the gaffer deploys that tactics before he can play. So sad. He was brilliant today. Let’s pray he keeps up that tempo. I love him as a player. And I’ll like to see him realize his full potential. Sitting on the bench isn’t helping him at all.
