‘A Player That Plays A Crucial Role’- Stoke City Fans Hails Mikel Pre-Season Form

Stoke City fans believe John Mikel Obi will be a vital clog in Michael O’ Neill’s squad next season, reports Completesports.com.

Mikel arrived Stoke City on a free transfer this summer.

The former Chelsea midfielder demonstrated his quality in the pre-season win over Newcastle at the weekend which underlined just what an important role he will have next term.

The Potter fans are adamant he will bring success to the club and help their promotion push.

Stoke Loud and Proud: He’s a player that plays in a crucial role. We have needed a ball winner that can pass a ball for a number of seasons. Class never leaves just a player’s pace, Mikel has never relied on pace so his age won’t be a problem. Keeping fit could be a factor, if we manage to do that then he’s a brilliant signing.

David Baker: He’s been there and done it in the game and appears to want to be at the club as he turned down other offers. As long as he can stay fit his class as a player and by all accounts also as a person can only be a good thing!

Dave Goodwin: He is a winner a true professional he will do the job most players don’t like sit in front of the back four and cover everyone like Glen Whelan did.

David Johnson: I think he will prove to be a great signing and be pivotal in our season.

Mick Dean: He will be the difference between us getting promoted or not.

Alan Smith: World class.

Alan Cartlidge: Class.

Bro, you are very correct, I remember someone on this forum was saying that Mikel never had any good game for Chelsea and that he was very poor for SE, and that Afcon 2013 was won because of Mba and Onazi, bla bla bla, But his stats keep on shaming his critics, At 33, still on limelight!!,Mikel is Classy abeg.
