Abraham Left Out Of Chelsea’s Squad For FA Cup Semi-Final Clash

Tammy Abraham’s future is set to be thrown under further doubt with the Chelsea striker due to be left out of today’s squad for the FA Cup semi-final versus Manchester City.

The England international is the competition’s top goalscorer this season with four goals – but is not expected to be involved in Saturday’s Wembley showdown.

Abraham is fully fit and is said to have trained well since recovering from a niggling ankle injury.

But his absence from today’s squad casts further unclarity over his long-term future under Thomas Tuchel, who has used him sparingly since arriving as Frank Lampard’s successor in January.

Abraham remains the club’s top goalscorer this season with 12 goals, despite the fact he has appeared to have fallen out of favour under the German coach.

However, Tuchel’s reluctance to use Abraham casts significant doubt over his future and it is becoming increasingly clear that the club could listen to offers for their academy graduate ahead of next season.

The 23-year-old scored 18 goals for Chelsea last season – at most clubs he would have been an automatic starter this term.

Indeed, he will be an attractive option for a host of Premier League and top European clubs this summer if Chelsea, as appears likely, look to offload their striker, who has scored 30 goals in all competitions since the start of last season – more than any Blues other player.

  • And we were comparing this player with osimhen. We actually don’t value what we have shaa.

That was then, now Osimhen is ahead of him. He’s now Chelsea rejected!

Abraham was always the usual kind of English bred striker… playing textbook football, he never had the street craftiness and foxiness of an Osimhen. His greatest undoing to himself is choosing England over Nigeria… It’s even clearer now, we never needed him. It is left to be seen what England future is still in store for him and Tomori… Wishing them well anyways!

Tomori and this guy were overate then. Southgate quickly caped them to prevent Nigeria from ever get to use them again. Abraham even insulted us by his stupid statements then. Now, where are they?. Tomori was shipped to a lowly club in France and Abraham, with his laud mouth, is completely abandoned like a lost Japanese Army in the wilderness in the middle of where. They are done.

  • Sad for Abraham. But even if he isnt playing for Chelsea regularly, I forsee a lot of other clubs coming for his services in the near future.
