Super Eagles striker Akor Adams is set to travel to Venice on Tuesday to complete his transfer to Serie A newcomers Venezia.
Venezia have already reached an agreement with LaLiga side Sevilla for the transfer of the Nigeria international.
The 26-year-old will undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Italian club.
The deal is valued at an initial €17 million, with performance-related bonuses capable of increasing the total package to €23 million.
Adams joined Sevilla from Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier in January 2025 and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in Spain.

The forward scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 32 league appearances for Los Rojiblancos last season.
Adams’ Sale To Provide Major Financial Boost For Sevilla
Sevilla, who are currently undergoing a major sporting and financial rebuild, are expected to receive a significant boost from Adams’ impending sale.
The proceeds from the transfer will help the LaLiga club fund new signings while easing pressure on their wage bill.
Adams’ departure also creates room for reinforcements in attack, an area identified as a priority by head coach Luis García Plaza and sporting director José Ignacio Navarro.
Sevilla are already exploring several replacement options, with targets across different leagues who fit the club’s revised sporting strategy and financial framework.
