Former Super Eagles midfielder Mutiu Adepoju has felicitated with Real Madrid for winning the UEFA Champions League title.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side claimed the title for a record extending 15th time following a hard-earned 2-0 victory over Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
Borussia Dortmund were the better side in the first half hitting the post once and created two more big chances.
Toni Kroos, who was playing his last game for Real Madrid set up Dani Carvajal for the opening goal 16 minutes from time.
England international Jude Bellingham rolled in Vinicius Jr to punish a stretched Dortmund side soon after.
Adepoju took to the social media to congratulate Real Madrid for the remarkable victory.
“Number 15! Congratulations to @realmadriden on winning the Champions League title.#halamadrid #championsleague #CHAMP15NS,” the former Real Sociedad star wrote on X.
