Senegal , Morocco and Cape Vade are the likely contenders so far.
Nigeria, Equitorial Guinea and Ivory Coast are the pretenders or the wanna be going by performance so far.

The fact that they started well isn’t a guarantee. We went out in the second round after winning all our group stage matches at the last afcon. As a matter of fact, it’s the teams that struggled initially that went on to do well in the competition. Football isn’t that predictable.

I like how we started because teams who grow as the tournament progresses are by far more dangerous than those with the initial gra gra. Remember what happened in 2013. We almost didn’t qualify from the group but went on to win the competition. I see Nigeria doing well in CIV because we’ve been humbled enough, especially by that first match result that for us to win this competition, we need to be at our best in every match. I’m sure the players know this as well.

  • Leave that thing. Cape Verde has powers shot in their legs. All the goals i was like its illegal to score such audacious goals. I rate them very high. That guy got it Mehn could have scored another that hit the bar from distance.
