“Well, it is an opening game and you can see that we scored a goal, of course, we missed a lot as well. But the most important thing is this team has created a lot of chances because in football when you play and you don’t create a chance, that means the game is not good.”

“We created our chances, and the moment they scored a goal, we replied to them within a minute. That shows that the team can have a fighting spirit and it’s the beginning of the competition.

“So we are expecting them all to do more and better in every game they play again,” Babangida stated.

  • I can’t remember any game under Peserio Eagles played spectacularly well, not even the Sao tome annihilation.

NOTHING WILL CHANGE. Players are too complacent. Throway chances for club like that whether them no go sub you.

I think NFF have promised jobs for some ex internationals who can’t tell the truth anymore.

The next thing we will hear is “since we fluffed against CIV, let us pull down Bissau”.

BABANGIDA, DON’T PUT YOUR MIND ON THIS SUPER EAGLE. THE PRESENT SUPER EAGLE IS NOT EAGLE OF YOUR OWN TIME.
IN YOUR OWN TIME, IF THE OPPONENT ARE WINNING YOU, YOU PEOPLE WILL FIGHT BACK, EQUALISER & WIN THE MATCH AT LAST. THIS PRESENT EAGLES ARE NOT LIKE THAT. THEY ARE HYPERTENSIVE EAGLES

  • This might be dumb excuse and medicine after death, but looking closely at the 6th AFCON match, I’m yet to see any pitch as worst as the one we play at, wondering why NFF not saying anything to this, good pitches all round and good AFCON tourney so far with goals in each matches but we need ask question to why we gat play at the worst tuff, is this intentional or something?
