Moses Usor could hardly contain his excitement after scoring on his Super Eagles debut, Completesports.com reports.
The LASK winger enjoyed a dream first appearance for Nigeria, coming off the bench to score the winning goal in a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Madagascar in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying opener in Uyo on Friday.
Madagascar took a surprise lead in the 16th minute through Kari Eshan, before Al-Ittihad striker George Ilenikhena restored parity for the Super Eagles shortly before halftime.

Usor, who replaced Samuel Chukwueze in the 61st minute, completed Nigeria’s comeback just four minutes later with a composed finish.
The 24-year-old picked up possession inside Nigeria’s half, drove forward and weaved his way into the Madagascar penalty area before calmly finding the near post to put Nigeria ahead.
Usor Thankful After Maiden Super Eagles Goal
Following his match-winning contribution, Usor took to social media to celebrate the memorable moment, while expressing his appreciation to the coaching staff, teammates and supporters.
“What a moment! Grateful for my scoring debut and for the trust and support from the coaching staff, my teammates, and the fans. This one means a lot!” Usor wrote on his Instagram page.
