Aguero Anticipates Historic Four-Title Feat For Man City

Manchester City forward, Sergio Aguero is licking his lips at the prospect of the Pep Guardiola’s side winning four titles – the Premier League, Champions League, Emirates FA Cup and EFL Cup this season.

The Cityzens made a bold statement about their Premier League ambition this term with a comprehensive 6-0 win over Chelsea in their last game, which reinstalled them at the top of the table.

The Premier League title holders have scaled the Emirates FA Cup Fifth-Round hurdle following their 4-1 win over Newport County. They will calsh with Chelsea in the EFL Cup final. And they are set for their Champions League Round of 16 first leg at Schalke 04 on Wednesday.

Aguero believes that City can make title-success in all the four competitions this season. And hope to successfully execute the responsibility of scoring the vital goals in their quadruple quest.

“If you get to this stage in the season with a chance to win four titles it means you are doing well,” Aguero told The Mirror.

“And I wish it would happen. I’m ambitious and you have to aim high.

“I know that nobody has ever done it before and I would like us to go down in history. For me, too, I want to be the one who scores goals in all the finals.

“I see this City team as having the capacity to win everything – and so that is our challenge.”

The Argentina international is his full element this season. His fine form has seen him scoring 17 goals in 23 games so far. He has also equalled Alan Shearer’s record of eleven Premier League hat-tricks.

Aguero said of his Man City career: “City are a champion team with a champion coach. What else am I going to want?

“I’m very happy at City and for now I don’t even think about leaving.

“It’s a great club that always looks after its players. I saw it from the very first day I arrived and it’s continued ever since.

“I still don’t know what I will do when I finish playing, but I will continue in the football world, that’s for sure.

“For now I just dream of winning titles with City every season, that is my main challenge.”
