Nigeria defender Ola Aina has revealed the reason he left Chelsea for a loan move to Torino in 2018, reports Completesports.com.
Aina linked up with Torino on a one-year loan deal in 2018 after failing to make much impact under new manager manager, Maurizio Sarri.
“He (Sarri) told me I would have to go on loan, I would not have played. During the market , I received offers from Championship clubs, but I wanted to play in the Premier League,”Aina told Baiteze in an Instagram interview.

“When Torino came for me, I accepted immediately because I would have had the opportunity to play in Serie A, in important stadiums and against top-level teams and players and above all in a team that wanted to go to the Europa League.”
Aina joined Torino on a permanent transfer from Chelsea for a reported fee of £9m last summer.
He has featured in 20 league games and bagged one assist this season.

Never mind those old eyes, that can’t see a talent. He almost single handedly got Chelsea to rot. Keep up the good work Ola, better managers are everyday appreciating you. This boy n Awaziem really makes me happy. Awaziem has defensive midfielder skills in him while Ola could fit in well as an offensive midfielder. Very versatile players.
