  • He should have stayed at Stoke City where he was highly appreciated. Rather he followed the trail of mega bucks to the Middle East only to be marooned.

At this point, I don’t know the full details behind his contract termination as the article above does not provide Mikel’s side of the story.

I wish him good luck in finding another suitor.

Such a talented player, a midfield maestro, but the talent was suffocated to near ruination at Chelsea FC.
Watch the Mikel playing for Nigeria at the 2013 confederations cup, and compare him to the Chelsea Mikel, and you begin to wonder if they are actually the same person!
So effortlessly skillful and attack minded for Nigeria, so conservative and listless for Chelsea!
Perhaps the folks at Al Kuwait had seen enough sideways and backwards passes to last them a lifetime.
Anyhoo, he’s done pretty good for himself. Take a look in his trophy cabinet.
If only he had played for Alex Ferguson at Man United.

It’s the same sideways and backward passes that Jorginho used to win UEFA best player. A DM must give sideways and backward passes. Buskets, Fred, Jorginho, Casemiro, Rodri, and Fabinho all do it week-in, week-out!

Lmao Ferguson would have done the worst to his career. Quinton Fortune is a case study

Chineye I know you don’t even understand football how much more sir Alex.
SAF hardly buys a player and the player flops.
        Hardly.
Sometimes, it is better to be silent than show the whole world what you are not.
