Ndubuisi Egbo’s KF Tirana got their campaign in the Albanian League off to a perfect start following their 2-0 home win against Kukesi on Wednesday, Completesports.com reports.
A brace from Filip Najdovski secured the win for the reigning Albanian League champions.

Najdovski gave Tirana the lead as early as the 6th minute before doubling their lead in the 14th minute.
The win against Kukesi saw Tirana top the 10-team Albanian top flight league.
Egbo set a record last season as he became the first African coach to lead an European club to a league title.
The feat saw Tirana qualify for the qualifying round of this season’s UEFA Champions League.

You can say that again Dr Drey. We’ve got a good number of Nigerian coaches (mostly ex-internationals)slowly but gradually building their profiles in Europe, but some funny ones are sleeping in their bedrooms waiting for NFF to come and give them jobs because they are ex-internationals, even without a coaching cert.
Seyi Olofinjana, John Utaka, Vincent Enyeama and lately Efe Ambrose just to mention a few, are ex-internationals already building the CVs in Europe. Imagine Efe Ambrose already landing a coaching job even while still playing for Livingstone. This speaks volume. Yakubu Aiyegbeni has also started running a soccer agency in England. In the near future these guys will bring there wealth of knowledge and experience to bear on the Nigerian game.
These are the type of ex-internationals we look forward to working with , not the arm chair ex-internationals with no qualifications waiting for NFF to offer them jobs.
Must all ex-internationals coach a team? How many foreign ex-internationals are coaches themselves? What percentages? That doesn’t mean they have no opinions in soccer. If you’ve been following the trend of things as regards the comments, opinions and pressure directed at the NFF by some ex-internationals, then you will understand perfectly the perspective I wrote from.
You’re very correct when you say not all ex-internationals must be coaches. But what do you say about those that want to be coaches but have got no certification or requisite experience years after retirement , only to be pushing their desire based on the fact that they are ex-internationals. I’m afraid, this is not right and that is why some of us have chosen to speak out and back up our assertions by showing them some of their mates that are doing the needful.
@OmoEsan. I hail you too brother. I understood their opinions sometimes are at loggerheads with yours but we have to try to understand their concerns as well. Life is not all black and white but grey.
Some sections clamoring to be coaches but themselves have no certifications have no business with the team. All I am saying is to be objective.

I’m a Togolese by decent but Nigeria by birth. The passion I have for Nigeria football makes me support only a club where any Nigeria player plays. I once told an Hausa friend of mine that I was a chelsea fans but the guy was so surprised to see me supporting Leicester City sometimes last season in one of the EPL games. So, as a fan I can say something about SE and Nigeria football in General.
I was watching a South African league yesterday, It was a game between Sun downs and one team like that (I could not remember the name of that team) I thought I was watching Sunderland vs stoke city. It is a very good and attractive league. This is kind of league any national team coach can take his time to watch to see if he can discover some players to play for the national team. Not the NPFL or whatever it’s called, there’s absolutely no league in Nigeria, no good playing pitch, poor travelling arrangements, porus and irritating offiating, below average players and teams that can not even beat Horoya FC or Real Bamako to qualify for continental club competitions, pot belly retired military men as club chairmen without any proper structure, all these and more are the main reason why no any reasonable coach will come over to watch Nigeria leaguea, yet some so called “ex international” will be all over the internet asking the best coach we have had in recent years to include players from the league in my darling SE? No way. Watching SE wining is the best joy ever for me and my wife can testify to this. So person like me won’t ever allow my darling SE to be a business entity for some people at expense of the joy of millions of Nigerians. God bless GR and God bless Super Eagles.

Article 14 of the convention describes UEFA license programs AS DIPLOMAS, Rohr got his own Diplomas as farback as the early 90s spending 3 years plus to do so. UEFA only harmonized all the diploma programs in to one in the late 90s to ensure standardization and allow holders to be employable in any of their member nations….add all the number of years required to get a UEFA A license and it also adds up to 3-4 years….does that add up in your empty brains..?

Caf started its own licensing in 2009, today you cant coach in caf competitions if you do not have a CAF A licence
