Ryan Alebiosu is in the running for the Blackburn Rovers Player of the Season award, Completesports.com reports.
Alebiosu was arguably Rovers’ standout performer in the first half of the season.
The 24-year-old was also rewarded with a place in the Nigeria squad at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The right-back made his competitive debut for the Super Eagles in the group stage fixture against the Cranes of Uganda.
Injury however limited him to just one appearance for the three-time African champions in Morocco.
Alebiosu has scored one goal, and registered five assists in 40 league appearances for Rovers this season.
Balazs Toth, Sean McLoughlin, Lewis Miller, Eiran Cashin, Sondre Tronstad, Ryoya Morishita, Andri Gudjohnsen and Yuki Ohashi are the other players nominated for the award.
