Peseiro is going nowhere
Is this how Nigeria will miss the next world cup even when FIFA has increase the number of African representative to 9?
Who do us????
How did we get here???
NFF pls everything is on the rising side, we can’t afford the price of calcio or scientific calculator, do us a favour by tieing PESEIRO down with a new contract.
Our ex cricketers can’t give us the WC ticket…. Remember how our technical adviser and 9 useless consortium including their messiah Amunike couldn’t bit a poor and worst GHANA team ever.
Infact, the referee has to do some abragadabra for super eagles to register one goal.
We don’t have any ex international in the mold of late Keshi or Amodu that can rise to the occasion and deliver.
What we have now are TV pundits just like England ex international that will play and win all their games on TV programs, hand it over to them and see your team relegated or being knocked out to oblivion.
We don’t have any ex international that can manage our national team until one proof me wrong by going to Europe just like other serious ex international from Ivory coast…. TOURE brothers.
My opinion though and I stand to be corrected.

Before CIV appointed Fae did he go to Europe to prove himself? He was appointed few days to Senegal clash and he delivered but you’re here making a point that doesn’t make sense because you have never witnessed final before that is why you need Peseiro at all cost even though we know he is not a long term solution for our football. If we follow people like you then I’m afraid our long term football philosophy will not be different from the underdogs. Continue your Campaign I’m observant!!!
@chima E Samuel…
“Before CIV appointed Fae did he go to Europe to prove himself? He was appointed few days to Senegal clash and he delivered but you’re here making a point that doesn’t make sense… ”
Hahahahaha.
Chima I think you got this wrong.
Yes Fae Emerse actually went to Europe.
He retired in 2012 ….
He started coaching in the youth team of OGC NICE in France in 2012 till 2018.
From 2018 to 2021 he became their U19 (NIZZA) manager.
From 2021 to 2022 he became CLERMONT B Manager still in France.
He later return home to handle IVORY COAST U23 in 2022.
In 2022 till 2024 he started working as assistant coach of IVORY COAST.
2024 till date he became Coach of IVORY COAST.
Have you seen how Fae Emerse work his way right from Europe before IVORY COAST started giving him managerial appointment?
It’s only in Nigeria that things are done TURN BY TURN.
It’s my turn to rule…. It’s my turn to coach whether competent or not, all we know is…. It is my turn.
Fae retired and started working for the future in Europe…. Our ex internationals will retire and sit at home waiting for their turn to coach super eagles.
No wonder they always fail woefully.
The few that went and mastered the art of coaching ended up creating history for themselves…. Late keshi and Amodu…. The rest want it to be their turn.
It’s only in Nigeria things are done upside down.
I rest my case.

What are you saying please. ?
No matter the wailing and anything football fans does, Nigeria football destiny remain in the hands of NFF and Government. Smart fans and real football Enthusiasts can only pray and wish that God will make a miracle for our leaders to do what is right at the end of the day.
Paseiro should go if he wants to! We’ll qualify for 2026 world cup with our indigenous coach (Amunike)
I don’t believe in Paseiro at all. NFF should please, let him go!
What has Amunike achieved? He failed with the Tanzania national team abysmally, same with a Zambian and Egyptian clubs.
I leave in a Francophone country. Those local coach u see are just there to head the crew. The real backroom staff are all French white nationalities. So stop advocating for our local coach who knew little or nothing about modern football tactics and formations
And the white coaches at AFCON didn’t fail also, what a senseless excuse. Zambia has a white coach, he failed, and still remains their coach etc. What did the new coach of Tanzania achieve with the team he brought. Too bad we not from a francophone country, and stop coming here to tell us some bull crap.
@UBFE, keep up the great work and continuing exposing the serial failure who believes in his long expired gbajue style or the noise of unknown forumites will get him the national team job.
JP is working to strengthen the team and according to a report he is inviting new players: 2 MF, 1 GK, 1
It is my hope he considers Samson Tijani. a central midfielder (former eaglet captain) who is playing regularly in Austria top division and has got all the attribute we need in
midfield.
@Larry….
Thumps up brotherly….
NIGERIA is our country…. Super eagles is the only thing working in Nigeria now…. Please let us not fold our hands and watch these people…..
Thanks once again
Algeria are ready to offer JP $200k, versus our paltry $60k, which is never paid on schedule.
Let’s continue to observe what will happen.
Oga J.P is not going anywhere in Jesus Name. Algeria should go look somewhere else.
Oga will strengthen our team by bring in Boniface, Ndidi and few others to ensuring super eagle qualify for the World Cup.
Let the lazy/unemployed village local coaches continue to wait until thy kingdom come. Okay, until the Naira return to one-to-one US dollar.
Lolz. So it’s up to this Edoman? I hope you understand what you are praying for, ba?
If you understand this game of football and you want to see Super Eagles at World Cup and Afcon, then Oga Paseiro has to go.
Oga Paseiro has never improved anything since he has taken over the Super Eagles.
It is not about Boniface and Ndidi. Look, my old friend, the squad the gaffer took to Ivory Coast would have won us the trophy had the gaffer able to manage his squad.
Super Eagles is a big team that has to wait for any player. Ndidi or not, Ndidi, Boniface, or no Boniface, Eagles will do well.
In one word, Oga Paseiro is not good enough to handle Super Eagles just like Oga Rohr. No disrespect to these two coaches.
Look at what is happening to Oga Rohr in Benin now and if Oga Paseiro leaves, same thing will happen because we have what it takes to win any tournament if our players and coaching crew are properly managed.
This is why I have been advocating for a local coach before now. A foreign coach can not can not understand us more than our own. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
Oga u no dey tire????
Are sure you are a Nigerian at all???
Because you’re always working against the progress of the super eagles….
All your suggestions always turn negative.
Super eagles would have strolled to AFCON 2021 final in Cameroun but you and your likes started gunning for home based coach…. The greedy young man came and disgrace his entire generation…..
Imagine how a Nigerian technical adviser was taught and schooled by a rookie unknown assistant coach from Tunisia. The worst part of it is when the man used team C and taught Our technical adviser and his 9 consortium some basics of SOCCER…..
In other words 10 Nigerian ex international is not equal to one unknown assistant coach from Tunisia.
In mathematics…..
1 Tunisian coach > 10 Nigerian
We haven’t even recovered from the national disgrace our ex cricketers brought on our faces, a Ghana team that Comoros outplayed came to Nigeria and picked the world cup ticket before our very eyes.
The worst GHANA team ever for over 10 years tutored our home based technical adviser football lessons until the referee have to rushed in for his rescue, manufactured a soft touch penalty just to save innocent Nigerians from harassment…..
Now NIGERIA is rising again…. Preparing to stroll to the WC in north America, you and your likes are all over again to twart our success…..
What did you achieve the last time we missed out on AFCON final and the world cup?
Omo9ja change….. If you’re not for us please leave us….. Stop misleading the public…. Allow us to do our thing the way it suits us.
You’re not a Nigerian, go to your country…..
I REST MY CASE.
@UBFE. My good friend, l know omo9ja for a very long time. he is not a Nigerian. He is a plant in our mix.
If omo9ja is a Nigerian, let him tell us which local Govt Area was he born. (2) Name the address of a property owned in a such LGA. In other wards, name a tie to your LGA. Lets see.
Omo9ja is not a Nigerian but a plant and a pretender all along. A lovely coach who has taken us the final of a continental event of such importance is never good enough for him but, the local unemployed and lazy once are what he is rooting for. An agent.
Omo9ja, by your utterances, you be known.
NB. Edoman is prepared to do what was of Omo9ja to do with 100 percent proof.
At least the team of 2021 played excellent football not parking the bus like this nonsense we saw in ivory coast, if not for the calamity goalkeepers we paraded, yes we would have gone far and the error by that cry baby iwobi. If the NFF as balls let them give the same contract given to the white coaches. Was it not uzohobasket that cost us the world cup, abeg make una shift with your yeye reasoning. Omo9ja carry on my brother. Let JP go park the bus with tanzania, and co, and lets see if he would go far again. Rorh is an example. 6 years and can’t muster a win with his new team.
What was “Ask”
We are all pushing for the progress of the super eagles as for me pesciro should continue as the super eagles coach because continuety is the way forward for the team.pesciro has done very well we saw his mistakes but the truth is that humans are made to make mistakes am sure he will correct the mistakes.playing zaidu ahead of bruno.keeping nacho and mofi on the bench.starting the final with just two mildfielders these are his mistakes.@omo9ja pesciro is a better coach than rohr stop clamouring for Amunike because Amunike will not do what pesciro is doing now,I was in Rabat Morocco during the afcon the morrocans were praising pesciro after our match against south Africa let’s support the coach he will surely deliver stop complaining and support the coach.
If the Algerian offer is true then Peseiro os as good as gone. The conditions of work is better and the remuneration is way better. Algeria is topping their group and poised to qualify for the world Cup whilst Nigeria is 3rd and trailing in their group, no brainer really.
On a personal note, I haven’t been a big fan of his but I would understand if he is allowed to continue. Afterall, he did meet and surpass his target regarding the afcon and one must respect that. However, fans must not be easily swayed by the sentiments of getting to the final but how we went about our business is a bit troubling. Barring 1 game , the SE played with 5 man defense for the entire tournament, even against Guinea Bisau. One question most fans are not asking is why? Why would a football powerhouse like Nigeria adopt a defensive posture for Guinea Bisau? Imagine Brazil , France, Argentina playing a Guinea bisau and playing a 5 man defense, does this really show progress or we are just papering the cracks. The truth is Peseiro knew he did not have a competent midfield and went for a formation that will hide the deficiencies of his team.
Why would a team aspiring to ruffle feathers at the next World cup now adopt a Sean dyche style of football when he was at Burnley fc. What is troubling is that it shows the technical limitations of our team in certain departments. Burnley knew they did not have the players to match most top teams and resorted to route 1 football. To be fair to him, it was pragmatic and got him into the final but it also highlights the limitations of a key area in the team which was the midfield. The question is in 2024 is that what do we aspire to be as a football country? Even smaller teams like Brighton in the English league have adopted an attacking brand of football and recruited bright minded coaches over the years. Below are my concerns:
1. One major worry is what appears to be his inflexibility in making decisions at the right time. This was seen when he was scrambling to SA to watch nwabali weeks to Afcon. He should have made that call earlier especially with the howlers made by Uzoho. It is disconcerting when as a fan you can see the bottleneck in a team and a coach who is paid thousands of dollars monthly can not see the obvious.
2. How on earth do you drop a dele bashiru, tella and pick aribo? Peseiro hasn’t really paid much attention to the midfield. He is often seen packing the team with strikers, leaving the midfield thin. The chicken eventually came home to roost.
For me, we are a good midfield away from becoming a terrifying team. If Peseiro remains in the dugout, this has to be the area to focus on. Whoever the coach is, he must make sure he builds a strong midfield. I will suggest the inclusion of players like Ugochukwu Leslie, Onuche Ogbelu, Fisayo Dele Bashiru and Victor Eletu. Particularly onuche as central midfield, lesley ugochukwu in defensive midfield and Fisayo as attacking midfielder. With a 433 with the strikers we have , we will clinch the wc ticket.
If Peseiro decides to go let him go and we should wish him well in his endeavors. If he decides to stay and the NFF wants to give him a new contract he definitely deserves it. If they can’t afford him and he leaves we should go for another tactically sound coach that will take the team to greater heights. It is important that we build upon the success of the recent AFCON.
In my opinion we have a team now we just need to add a few qualities into the midfield. A technically and tactically sound coach will know exactly what this team needs and Peseiro already know. That’s why it’s better to let him continue, but if they return the SuperEagles to another glorified failure of a domestic coach just kiss your WorldCup ticket goodbye.
Excellent football took our football back to 1982 and got us knocked out of the WorldCup when the coach doesn’t even know that Ghana had switched formation in the second half. Lmao!!
