Algeria midfielder Abeid Expects Tough Match Against Eagles

Algeria midfielder Mehdi Abeid expects a tough match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their 2019
Africa Cup of Nations semifinal clash at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.

Abeid who plays in the French Ligue 1 for Dijon is aware of the quality of the Super Eagles team and believes they will be a tough nut to crack for his team.

“We played a tough game against Ivory Coast, but we have recovered now and ready for the game,” Abeid told reporters.

“I think Nigeria have a strong side with good quality players. But we know where we can go and we will do our best tomorrow (Sunday).

“There is high morale in the team. We have performed well so far and we hope to keep it up and execute the coach’s tactical plan. We hope to repay the fans with a good performance and I like the spirit in the team.”

The Algeria – Nigeria clash on Sunday will kick off at 8pm Nigerian time.
