Former Golden Eaglets midfielder Isah Aliyu has left Armenian side, Lori Vanasdzor and signed a five-year deal with Spanish Segunda side, UD Almeria, Completesports.com reports.
Aliyu, 20, had a stint with Remo Stars of Sagamu before moving to the Armenian side where he scored seven goals in 29 appearances.
The Spanish side announced the arrival of the Nigerian left-footed midfielder on the club’s website.
The contract will keep the former Nigeria U-17 national team star at the Segunda club until 2024.
Aliyu is the second Nigerian to pen a deal for the Spanish second tier league side during the summer, joining Enyimba’s Valentine Ozornwafor who arrived from Turkish giants, Galatasaray, on a season-long loan.
