Ambrose Set For Scotland Return To Join Livingston

Former Nigeria international Efe Ambrose is on the verge of returning to Scottish Football, after Daily Record reported he had held discussions with Premier League side Livingston about a potential move.

Ambrose has been without a club following his release from Derby County in the summer of 2019 and a move to Gary Holt’s Livi is on the cards.

Ambrose has been keeping fit by training with his former local team back in Nigeria Kaduna United and is now looking for a move back to Scotland.

Ambrose joined Scottish Premier League club Celtic in the summer of 2012 transfer deadline day, signing a three-year contract.

At Celtic, Ambrose made 113 appearances scoring five goals and won four league titles, one Scottish Cup and one League Cup.

On 28 February 2017, Ambrose joined
Hibernian on loan from Celtic for the rest of the season and won the Scottish Championship player of the month award for March 2017.

After his contract with Celtic expired at the end of the season, Ambrose signed a two-year contract with Hibernian.

Ambrose exercised a clause in his contract and left Hibernian in January 2019, despite the club offering him a new deal.

In February 2019, Ambrose went on trial with Championship club Derby County managed by Frank Lampard and later that month he signed a short-term contract with the club.

He was released by Derby County at the end of the 2018–19 season without playing.

He was a member of the Flying Eagles team that got to the quarter-final of the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada.

He was included in Samson Siasia’s U-23 side that won silver at the Beijing 2008 Olympic games.

He made his Super Eagles debut in 2008, made 51 outings and netted four goals.

During his time with the Eagles, he helped Nigeria win the 2013 AFCON in South Africa, playing in every single game.

Also in 2013 he made the squad to the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The rest are clubless or completely off the radar as at now.

In contrast, Argentina’s team still has about 18 out of the 23 man still playing at even champions League level sef….Aguero, Messi, Dimaria, Banega, Romero, Zabaleta, Fazio, Otamemdi….d list goes on and on.

Did I hear someone say you can’t cheat nature…? Lolz. Nature is a bastard….If you like claim 23 when you are already 37….nature go open ur yansh wen time reach.
