Ameobi Included In Bolton Wanderers’ Team of The Decade Shortlist

England-born Nigerian forward Sammy Ameobi has been included in Bolton Wanderers’ Team of The Decade shortlist.

Ameobi’s inclusion in the shortlist was announced on Bolton’s verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old younger brother to former Super Eagles striker, Shola Ameobi, will slug it out with three other players for Bolton’s best left midfielder in the last decade.

The other three players are Martin Petrov, Will Buckley and Craig Noone.

Bolton fans are expected to vote in a poll to decide the best left midfielder.

The former Newcastle forward joined Bolton in 2017 and made 65 appearances and scored eight goals before departing in 2019.

He currently plays for Championship club Nottingham Forest.
