Aribo Backs Rangers To End Celtic’s Dominance In Scotland

Nigeria midfielder Joe Aribo insists Rangers are now ready to end Celtic’s dominance  in Scotland, reports Completesports.com.

Steven Gerrard’s men will face their Old Firm rivals in the final of the Betfred Cup on Sunday.

The Gers have stood up to the challenge of Celtic this season with both teams in close battle for the Scottish Premier League title.

“I  think we are ready and we are showing that in our games. We just need to keep the momentum building and that is the main thing with us. We will put in performances, take every game as it comes and not look past the next fixture,”Aribo told the Daily Record.

“Every game is a must-win and that is a step up for me. It is added pressure but it is good pressure because you know that you have to perform. When you perform, you have a good feeling about yourself. That is good for me

“We’re all enjoying it at the moment as we know what we need to do going into every game.

“We just need to make sure we take every game as it comes.

It’s such a good feeling to be in and around things both in the league and in the Europa League.

“This was definitely a good game to win ahead of the challenges ahead as we knew we needed to get the right result. We can now move forward from this and take it in to the Aberdeen game on Wednesday and continue on from there.

“It’s all about keeping the momentum going.”
