Aribo Happy Learning From Northern Ireland, Scotland, Finland Midfielders

Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo says he is being a sponge – a keen learner from his fellow Glasgow Rangers midfield players; Steven Davis, Ryan Jack and Glen Kamara who are also national team players, Completesports.com reports.

Aribo who has been capped four time by Nigeria, have completed a great first full season at Rangers under head coach Steven Gerrard following his arrival in 2019 from Charlton Athletics. He netted nine goals, eight assists from 49 games across all competitions for Gers in the 2019/020 season. And he remains ambitious to take his performance to the next level.

The 24 year old says that the trio of Davis, Jack and Kamara are great model footballers at the club from whom he is learning very well.

35 year old Davis has been capped 117 times by Northern Ireland. He joined Rangers last season on loan from Southampton. Defensive Midfielder, Jack, 28, who joined Gers from Aberdeen in 2017 is a Scotland International on three caps so far, while 24 year old Kamara has featured 14 times for Finland. He joined the side in 2019 from Dundee United .

“If you want to progress and be better, you have to play against the best, you have to learn from the best,” Aribo told Rangers TV.

“There’s Davo there, there’s Jacko there, there’s Glen there. They are all internationals and l can just watch them and learn off them as well.

“So I am just trying to be a sponge and learn off everybody really because that’s just what is going to improve my game, so it is just good that I am able to do that.”
