Tolu Arokodare registered an assist on his Eredivisie debut as Ajax opened the new season with a 2-0 away victory over PEC Zwolle.
Arokodare, who started the game on the bench, replaced Abdellah Ouazane in the 73rd minute.
The Nigeria international made an immediate impact, setting up Jorthy Mokio for the opening goal just three minutes after his introduction.
Julian Brandt doubled Ajax’s advantage deep into stoppage time, with Mika Godts providing the assist.

Arokodare joined the former European champions on a season-long loan deal from Sky Bet Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers last month.
Ajax will host Heerenveen in their next Eredivisie fixture on Sunday.
Before then, they will travel to Dublin for the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round tie against Shelbourne.
De Godenzonen hold a 3-1 advantage from the first leg at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
