Arsenal Close In On Chelsea, Man United’s EPL Record After Win At Wolves

Arsenal returned to winning ways after defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 away in Saturday’s Premier League.

A goal in each half by Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard secured the win for Mikel Arteta’s men.

Going into Saturday’s game, Arsenal had failed to win their last three games in all competitions (two defeats, one draw).

The Gunners had to bounce back from their exit from the UEFA Champions League in the hands of Bayern Munich.

The win against Wolves means it’s now six away clean sheets in a row for Arsenal.

That’s only one off the Premier League record of seven set by both Chelsea and Man Utd in the 2008/09 season.

Their next game on the road is against city rivals Tottenham Hotspur on 28 April.

Before the game against Spurs, Arsenal will take on another London rival Chelsea on Tuesday, 23 April.
