Mikel Arteta has won the 2025/2026 Premier League Manager of the Season award.
Arsenal announced Arteta as the winner in a statement released on their website on Tuesday.
“After guiding us to the league title, Mikel Arteta has been named the Premier League Manager of the Season for 2025/26,” Arsenal stated.
“Our boss collected the trophy at the League Managers Association awards at the Grosvenor Hotel, 48 hours after getting his hands on the trophy and ending our 22-year wait for a league championship.
“Mikel guided us to 27 wins and seven draws from 38 games during a campaign in which we sat at the top of the table for all but one week since going top in October, while also reaching the Champions League final for the first time in 20 years.

“We kept clean sheets in half of our league matches, conceding only 27 goals, to record the best defensive record in the league.
“Mikel, who at 44 is the second-youngest manager to win the Premier League, was crowned the division’s Manager of the Month for the eighth time during his tenure in N5 in March, having been nominated for the monthly award on five occasions this term.
“Having been nominated for the seasonal award in three of the past four years, Mikel becomes our first recipient since 2004 when Arsene Wenger picked up the trophy following his Invincibles success.
“Mikel came out ahead of Pep Guardiola, Andoni Iraola, Keith Andrews, Michael Carrick and Regis Le Bris, with a public vote combined with the views of a panel of football experts determining the winner.”
