Tolu Arokodare has expressed his gratitude to Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters despite the club’s relegation from the Premier League, Completesports.com reports.
The Old Gold will return to the Championship after spending seven seasons in the Premier League following their promotion in the 2017/18 campaign.
Wolves endured a miserable campaign, finishing bottom of the table with just 20 points after recording only three wins and suffering 24 defeats.
They, however, produced some encouraging performances in the second half of the season against champions Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Liverpool.

“Thanks for your support Wolves, see you next season.”
Bright Spot For Wolves
Arokodare finished as Wolves’ joint top scorer in the league with three goals. The Nigeria international also recorded six goals and two assists in 38 appearances across all competitions during the campaign.
The 25-year-old joined Wolves from Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk last summer.
He scored 41 goals, and registered 12 assists in 113 appearances across all competitions for the Smurfs before moving to England.
The striker has been linked with a move away from the club, with Beşiktaş, and Trabzonspor reportedly among his suitors.
