Aubameyang Breaks Record As Arsenal Pip  Chelsea To Win 14th FA Cup Title

Two-goal hero Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made FA Cup history in Arsenal’s 2-1 comeback win against London rivals at Wembley stadium on Saturday.

Aubameyang bagged two goals in either half to cancel out Christian Pulisic’s early lead for Chelsea.

It saw Arsenal land a record 14th FA Cup title and made it third straight win against Chelsea in the competition.

And for Aubameyang he became the first African man to ever captain a side in the FA Cup final.

He is now the first Arsenal player to score twice in a Wembley FA Cup final since Reg Lewis against Liverpool in 1950, and, at 31.

Also, he is the oldest Gunners scorer in a cup final since Bob John netted against Newcastle in 1932.

It was his first major trophy since winning the German Cup with Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

And during his time at Saint-Etienne in France, he won the French League Cup in 2013.
