Aubameyang Urges Arsenal To Sign Former Teammate Dembele

Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants Arsenal to sign former Borussia Dortmund teammate Ousmane Dembele.

Aubameyang is yet to sign a new deal with Arsenal and is said to want assurances over the club’s ambition before he puts pen to paper.

And according to French outlet Le10Sport, one man he would love to see join him at the Emirates is Dembele who he played with in Germany between 2016 and 2017.

Dembele has struggled for game time at Barcelona this season and was recently linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in a swap deal with Neymar.

And he is one of a “whole side of players” Barca are reportedly looking to sell.

Dembele has struggled since a £135m move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

The French winger has been hampered by injury, making just 74 appearances and scoring 19 goals.

The Barca hierarchy are said to be willing to cut their losses on Dembele after the emergence of wonderkid Ansu Fati.

The 23-year-old would be available for around £44million.

Mikel Arteta recently pleaded with Aubameyang, 31, to stay at the club and become a legend.

Gunners chiefs will this week offer their FA Cup final match-winner fresh terms — but he wants a three-year deal worth £250,000-a-week.

Aubameyang, who scored twice to beat Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley, is out of contract in less than a year.
