Completesports.com’s ADEBOYE AMOSU x-rays the performance of Flying Eagles players in their 2-1 defeat to Senegal – a Round of 16 match at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland on Monday, June 3, 2019. ..
OLAWALE OREMADE 6/10
Looked a bit jittery in the game even though he made a couple of good saves.
RABIU MOHAMMED 6/10
Improved like the rest of the team after the break. Defended well but didn’t offer much going forward.
IGHO OGBU 6/10
Gave an improved performance from the previous game against Ukraine, but unfortunately, couldn’t prevent his side from losing the tie.
ALIU SALAWUDEEN 6/10
Looked at home with Igho Ogbu right beside him but the duo couldn’t stop the Senegalese from scoring twice in the game.
IKOUWEN UTIN 5/10
Gave the ball away a couple of times. He never really hit the standard set in the side’s first game against Qatar where he grabbed two assists.
NNAMDI OFOBOR 5/10
Didn’t offer much in the game. He was duly substituted by Tom Dele-Bashiru 20 minutes from time.
KINGSLEY MICHAEL 5/10
A subdued performance from the midfielder who failed to make much impact in the game.
ANIEKEME OKON 7/10
Worked hard as usual and scored Nigeria’s only goal of the game.
MAXWELL EFFIOM 4/10
The Enyimba winger sustained what looked like a bad injury in the first half and was replaced by Collins Sor.
SUCCESS MAKANJUOLA 5/10
Toiled hard to impress in the game with little or nothing to show for his efforts.
TIJANI MUHAMMED 4/10
Difficult to understand why he made the team in the first place. Another subdued performance from the forward.
SUBSTITUTES
COLLINS SOR 4/10
Wasted Nigeria’s first real chance of the game. He was anonymous for the better part of the game after replacing the injured Maxwell Effiom in the first half.
PETER ELETU 4/10
Came in for Kingsley Michael two minutes before the hour mark. He didn’t do much to affect the course of the game.
TOM-DELE BASHIRU 5/10
Full of life and energy following his introduction 20 minutes from time.

COMMENTS
Thanks
Pls what has the keeper done to deserve this rating CS get your acts together and stop fooling Nigerians. The only good player Makanjuola you rate him low. I hope my comments pops up this time around for saying the truth
It’s been long I checked out complete sports because their journalism is fake, they don’t report anything accurate, I don’t want to say they are as corrupt as the NFF. But they are not standard and do not report d true reflection of things.
Same here, complete sport is becoming shadow of true sport journalism that we knew it to be. I hardly check it these days, how can you rate Rabiu that hardly complete a pass 6, Its laughable
Whoever ghat is rating this thing must either be too old or collected bribe from Te players. The only rating he got correct was that of tijani, though 4 is a bit too high for him, I would rate him 1/10 for a shameful display on the night. The RB was another one that should have 2/10 but he got 6% here nawao. The two CB had a decent game, goalkeeper was awful as tijani, RB, LB, oforboh ,all should have 3/10.finally ,I hope the coaches should have learnt their lessons, they should go round the country especially in the south and pick players, they seem to be more intelligent and talented than all these Mohamed, tijani, sor, abubakar, sukifilu, etc that we see these days in our junior national teams. Enough of all these torture they are giving football fans
This is why this rubbish coach take money from them and disgrace all but NFF and Nigerian fans and the stupid coach is sharing there match bonuses don’t mind those fools
Am so sorry nothing is working in the nation called Nigeria. Its hard time we stop deceiving ourselves and do the needful.
I agree with you guys why did we not get players from nnl and lower luges also any of our groups dt will not win 1st or runner up in Africa will not do well in the world, lookout for golden eagle also if they don’t change
If Paul I, did not pick the boys dt played for this championship by him self and allowed other people to do it, I hope he knows that it is name that goes down as a failure
Average?
Adeboye Amosu, do you know the meaning of average? It doesn’t seem like it.
