I doubt if Nigeria will have a complete team when they face Egypt, thanks to the incompetence of the NFF and the Ministry of Sports.

  • 3 days after camp opened, only 7 players out of 28 have arrived. Is this the same situation with other African teams with legion of foreign based stars? Pinnick should not bother trying to rerun for NFF presidency when his forgettable tenure expires.

  • Awaziem looks to be the only competent centre half in the team after the exit of Balogun. I’m beginning to see his pairing with Kenneth Omeruo whom he has forged a strong chord back in their days with Leganes in the LA Liga. With the injury to Balogun and the Ekong struggling form, this might likely sound a death knell to the famous Oyibo wall after all.

  • The way things are going now, it’s like we are going back to square one ( those forgettable years) because am not seeing any seriousness in all the angle.. Chaii this tournament. Nigeria

Seven players in camp. Two of the seven are goalkeepers. What a story it is turning out to be post Gernot Rohr. Hehehehehehe

Most leagues that have winter breaks have all their players resting now… Where is Jamilu Collins who is even a Bundesliga 2 player?

Where is Uzoho, Okoye and the likes of Captain Musa? Only players in EPL actually have a reason not to have reported to camp. If Sadiq Umar is in camp where is Nwakali, Umeruo who are also Segunda Liga players? Most or the players ought to have been in camp since December 29th at the latest… This is why we clamor for competition in invitations, when you make certain players feel their places are assured… Where is Ekong who was not even listed in Watford last game? I believe Egypt might shock us in the first game because those guys don’t joke with games against Nigeria… It happened in AFCON 2010. There should be penalty for late arrival and this sort of attitude happens whenever a local coach is appointed… With Rohr, players would have been in camp to 90% capacity… our players don’t respect Nigeria coaches… with a white coach you see them behaving likes scared rats… My own na to watch as entertainment, the money no the reach me.

Truth be told. The players do not believe that they would learn anything tactical or technical from any local coach.
