Taiwo Awoniyi has been honoured by Nottingham Forest after making his 100th appearance for the club, Completesports.com reports.
Awoniyi was gifted a commemorative shirt by the Premier League club in recognition of the milestone.
The Nigeria international was honoured by teammates and club staff during Friday’s training session.
Awoniyi achieved the feat during Forest’s stunning 3-1 victory over Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge two weeks ago.

The 28-year-old scored twice for Vítor Pereira’s side in the thrilling encounter.
“Thank you guys. This would not have been possible without you guys. For all you have done this season, for where we are, for keeping the team in the Premier League,” the powerful striker told his teammates after receiving the shirt.
Awoniyi has registered four goals, and one assist in 15 league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season.
He joined Forest from Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin in 2022.
