Leon Balogun main focus is now Nigeria’s upcoming friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia, reports Completesports.com.
Balogun played a key role as his Scottish Premiership club Rangers defeated Ross County 2-0 on Sunday at the Ibrox Stadium.
The centre-back featured for 90 minutes in the game.
“Our performance definitely has to improve, but [we are] happy about the important three points and another clean sheet. Off to reunite with my Super Eagles now,” Balogun wrote on his Twitter handle.
The Super Eagles will take on African champions Algeria on October 9th before before coming up against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia four days.
Both games will take place at the Jacques Lehmans Arena, Austria.
Balogun, who recently recovered from a muscle injury has featured in five league games for Rangers this season.

I just dont see you as a long term solution in the defence. I believe you have about a year or two of top flight football in you but after that younger players will come into play. But I wish you all the best this season. No more injuries. Enjoy ur game
