Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has admitted that the club needed to sign a new striker before the start of the new La Liga season.
Flick expressed full confidence in sporting director Deco while noting that any final attacking additions also depend on the future of Ferran Torres.

Recall that Robert Lewandowski departed the club earlier in the summer, leaving a massive void in the center-forward position.
Barcelona added wingers Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi, whom Flick noted can also deputize through the middle alongside young talent Lamine Yamal.
However, the German tactician noted that the club still needs a striker urgently.
“I have total confidence in [sporting director] Deco; we know that we have to do something,” Flick told reporters after an inter-squad match at St. George’s Park in England, where Barca have been training.
“It also depends (what happens) about Ferran (Torres).”

Barcelona have signed Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi this summer for the first team, and Flick acknowledged both wingers could be used through the middle.
“Gordon and Adeyemi can play on both sides and as a number nine, so we have a lot of options actually,” added Flick, who noted Spanish teenager Lamine Yamal was also capable of playing in that role.

Adeyemi move to Barcelona was a big shock.He seem not to possess the quality to play in the attack of Barcelona…Osimhen is there for the taking what stopping Deco!!I am sure Barcelona is rich enough to pay Osimhen’s wages..
Meanwhile,Osimhen needs to play for the best clubs in the world to be able to win the ballon d’or,it’s not out of reach,he has the quality to win it and Barcelona will give him that platform.
