Barcelona Set To Sign Mamadou

Laliga club FC Barcelona are set to sign Senegal defender Mamadou Fall from Major League Soccer (MLS) side this current summer transfer window.

According to the Athletic, the Laliga champions are already in advanced talks to sign the defender. The two clubs are reportedly trying to close the deal before the transfer window ends on Friday, September 1.

The offer for Fall is a loan deal with an option to buy. The youngster was loaned to Laliga outfit Villarreal’s second team last season.

The Yellow Submarines have also been linked with a move for the 20 year old Senegalese International.

Fall is regarded as one of the most promising youngsters in Major League Soccer. He joined LAFC in the summer of 2021 and his contract will expire in December this year.

Barcelona are also working on a deal for Brazilian starlet Petterson Novaes who plies his trade with Brazilian clubside Flamengo.

He has made 42 appearances for the club since he joined LAFC in 2021. LAFC are currently second in the MLS Eastern Conference with 40 points after 25 matches.

Barcelona sit fourth on the Laliga table with seven points after matchday three.

  • There is no doubt that Senegal has pulled ahead of Nigeria and even ahead of Ghana in producing legitimate young talents. If my memory serves me correctly, Senegal used to be way below us in the production of talented youth players.
Not surprising, though. Good things can happen with a little bit of good organization and integrity.

    • @TONY Senegal does everything Right and Nigeria Doesn’t. @TONY you are one of the biggest blind supporters of NFF and Nigeria a blind patriot. and you are saying it is clear as much as your comments irritates me I will not even break it down to you.

I will just give you a clue. Look at Senegals list of National invites how many players come from Senegal league?. even if they can argue that thier league as of present performs better than Nigeria’s. They don’t try push league players to Bypass CHAN they respect that competition and parrameters of it. A Player Nicholas Jackson had one good season in Spain Villareal he was rewarded with a National Teranga Lions selection for the next International Window. Now he is at Chelsea. Meanwhile Nigeria is still waiting on Boniface, Orban or Akpom to get a single invite. Look bro in a nutshell this is one of the reasons. P.s. go and look at how many Dual National Senegalese talents Senegal have brought onboard irrespective that we have more scattered around the globe. You do not here thier handlers saying Senegal Local league this and that trash. I also don’t see them capping players who have long lost form and retaining them as captain of Senegal national team even though they have long past thier expiry date Like Nigeria does with Ahmed Musa.

Well there you have it. and I will disagree that Senegal produces more talent than Nigeria. Nigeria has more but Senegal are not arrogant and deluded like Nigeria is they actually understand that thier league can not compete with players plying thier trade abroad and they capp and reward those players have a look and track this player Mamodu if he is not capped by Senegal soon call me a liar.

NIGERIA IS DOOMED AND THAT IS NIGERIA’s OWN DOING

      • It is very simple @TONY Senegal understands modern football Dynamics Nigeria doesn’t or rather chooses not too. What can be the reason it is clearly Financial and personal gains.

I mean countries with Stonger leagues than ours I.e. SA are actively searching for dual National talents to boost their squads and chances of WC qualification while Nigeria is doing the complete opposite Nigeria and its destructive Ex Internationals are trying to push average NPFL players above our more talented by far European based players. Players that our Rivals wish they had. Is that not Sad?????????..

SAD THING IS EVEN WHEN They eventually make Nigeria as weak as Sao Tome and Mauritius in ball. They will still act blind and callus to the fact. NIGERIA is doomed state for now.
