Bayer Leverkusen manager, Xabi Alonso has no issue with Victor Boniface’s angry reaction after he was substituted in the Bundesliga champions away draw at Werder Bremen on Saturday night.
Boniface scored Leverkusen’s opening goal in the 2-2 draw.
The Nigeria international was replaced by Patrick Schick on 70 minutes.
The 23-year-old was angered with the decision which reflected in his reaction after leaving the pitch.

The Spaniard did not attach much importance to the event.
“Yes, but that’s normal, all players want to keep going. He did well, scored a goal, but we needed a bit more energy,” he told Kicker.
“Boni trained well on Friday, so we decided that he would start.” Alonso stated regarding Boniface’s fitness after the unfortunate car accident.
“He scored a goal. Hopefully, the car accident is no longer an issue, and we can talk about football,”
Boniface has scored eight goals and registered one assist in 11 appearances across all competitions for Die Werkself this season.
