Bayern Munich fans are calling for the sack of Thomas Tuchel following the team’s struggles this season.
Bayern are currently five points behind Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen, who do not appear like allowing the champions a route back into the title race.
In the Champions League, the Bavarians suffered a 1-0 defeat to Lazio in their first leg round of 16 clash.
This has, therefore, left Tuchel under a considerable amount of pressure, leading calls for the club to replace the 50-year-old in the summer.
According to Get Football Mews Germany, in a recent poll by Bild, which had 370,000 participants, 82% have voted against Tuchel, suggesting that he is no longer the right person for the Bayern job.
However, club officials at Bayern are still showing their faith in Tuchel, with Sporting Director Christoph Freund offering his support for the head coach after Wednesday’s Champions League defeat to Lazio.

“We are all in the same boat. It’s not easy now, but we will get out of this together; that’s our big goal.”
Meanwhile, Bayern’s upcoming games against Bochum and RB Leipzig will be crucial for Tuchel.
The former Chelsea manager will need to navigate Bayern through the next two weeks in a positive manner if he hopes to keep his job.
