Bayern Munich have reportedly enquired about a potential deal for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
The Senegal international was a regular fixture in Enzo Maresca’s side last season, starting 28 of his 30 Premier League appearances.
However, he appears to have fallen down the pecking order following the summer additions of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
As a result, Jackson will struggle for starting opportunities if he remains at Stamford Bridge for the 2025-26 campaign.
There is a belief that Jackson is ‘increasingly likely’ to leave this summer despite being under contract until the summer of 2033.
According to journalist Florian Plettenburg (via SportsMole) Bayern are showing an interest in signing the Chelsea striker before the end of the transfer window.
The update claims that the Bundesliga champions have made an enquiry to Chelsea to gather information about the player’s availability and the conditions of a potential transfer.
Despite making contact with the Blues, Bayern are currently prioritising a deal for Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemade.

However, they are considering Jackson as one of their alternative options in case they fail in their bid to sign the German striker.
Plettenburg also states that Newcastle United are ‘seriously interested’ in Jackson, having failed in their quest to sign Benjamin Sesko.
The Magpies made a significant effort to bring the RB Leipzig man to St James’ Park, but they appear to have lost out to Man United in the race to secure his signature.
They are now turning their focus to other targets as they look to sign a striker amid the uncertainty surrounding Alexander Isak’s future.
The Magpies have already rejected a bid from Liverpool for the Sweden international, who is understood to be keen to join the Premier League champions.
Eddie Howe has told Isak to train on his own after the Newcastle star missed the pre-season tour of Asia and trained alone with his former club Real Sociedad.
