Bayern Munich Sign Ex-Golden Eaglets Star Francis On Three-Year Contract

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have announced the signing of former Golden Eaglets midfielder Daniel Francis from FC Hearts of Abuja on a three-year deal, Completesports.com reports.

Bayern announced the signing in a statement on their website, fcbayern.com, on Thursday.

The club stated that Francis will be loaned out to Austrian topflight side Klagenfurt this season to garner more experience.

“FC Bayern have signed 18-year-old Nigerian talent Daniel Francis,” the club announced.

“The FC Hearts of Abuja midfielder has signed a contract until 2025. He will be loaned out to Austrian first division club Austria Klagenfurt until the end of the 2022/23 season.

“Francis recommended himself for a professional contract through FC Bayern ‘s ” World Squad ” project.

“In Klagenfurt, Daniel Francis will meet the Chinese goalkeeper Liu Shaoziyang, who was also loaned to the Kärtner by the German record champions.

“For the second time this year, a total of 24 talents from all over the world got the chance to show their qualities in the ” FC Bayern World Squad ” project. Due to his skills as a leading player, Francis acted as captain of the team.

  • Oh my word kudos boy.. I keep saying it our youth national teams combined with Acadamies that produce the talent for Youth age group national teams is where our home grown talents lie. This is just another proof. Look at It while this kid is moving to The top league in Europe much like Ndidi, Osimhen, Chuks, Success and Iheanacho before him NPFL players are moving to Tanzania and Slovenia and Indonesia.. By no means I my making fun but this is just proof that Some ex internationals and fans alike that unknowingly clamour for NPFL players up and down. Are actually sabotaging our ball.

    GOOD ONE ! i pray that after one year on the Austrian club on loan you will be back to Bayern Munich and become a regular player with them and not like kenneth omeruo who Chelsea signed and Taiwo Awoniyi who was signed by Liverpool and all of us are happy but after they didnt even play for the them for one day
