‘Best Night Of My Life’ — Lookman On Europa League Final Hat-Trick

Ademola Lookman admitted a hat-trick to win the Europa League for Atalanta against Bayer Leverkusen was one of the best nights of his life.

Lookman followed up his impressive semi-final performance against Olympic Marseille with a breathtaking display in Dublin on Thursday night.

The Nigeria international scored twice in the first half and added another after the break.

The 27-year-old was named Man of the Match after the thrilling contest.

“It’s one of the best nights of my life,” Lookman told TNT Sports after the game.

“It was an amazing performance from the team. We did it – fantastic. I’m just happy we won. We made history tonight.”

It was also “third time lucky” after Atalanta lost the Coppa Italia Final 1-0 to Juventus a week ago, and the player’s Nigeria lost the Africa Cup of Nations trophy.

He deserves No1 or 2 Caf best nomination for appearing in 3 finals this year. Lookman was a bull in his own right by commanding an invisible Leverkusen back line.

Ademola Lookman has elevated and lifted our heads as Nigerians in all World football as he has scored hat-trick ; so I advice NFF to take care for the local players so that they will grow then will go to Europe and can do as Lookman did yesterday…

Ademola Lookman is just simply the best Nigerian footballer at the moment. He gotta the pace, he gotta the skills, he gotta the strength and he can destroy any team with his prowess if fits. Congratulations guys on the show last night in Dubli’s Aviva stadium, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella. DFB Pokal is next for both Boniface and Tella.

Finidi is a rookie who even failed to use Tella in the recent friendly engagement against Mali. Lookman is the talk of the football world right now. And Tella is among the talking point.
When the die is cast, the rookie Finidi is going to screw up and NIGERIA may not go to World Cup.
