Bayelsa United Head Coach, Ladan Bosso, has revealed that the club’s biggest challenge is its inability to convert goal-scoring chances during matches, Completesports.com reports.
The Prosperity Boys came from behind to hold Enyimba to a 1-1 draw in Sunday’s NPFL Matchday 10 clash at Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
The result saw Bayelsa United drop to 18th place in the 20-team standings with 10 points.

Bosso, a former U-20 Flying Eagles coach, believes his team consistently creates enough goal-scoring opportunities but is frustrated that these chances are not taken, despite the team’s strong performances in matches, as seen in Sunday’s game against Enyimba.
He promised to focus his technical efforts on addressing this weakness as the club battles to avoid relegation.
“We’re going to keep working on the attack to ensure we convert more of the chances we create during games,” Bosso said.
“If we can play this well against teams like Enugu Rangers and Enyimba, it clearly shows the quality of the team we have. It’s now all about converting our chances, and that’s the area we’ll address.”

The 57-year-old manager noted that his side had a penalty appeal that was waved away by the referee, but he admitted that the officiating was fair without any bias towards the home team.
Bayelsa United will travel to Port Harcourt for a Matchday 11 fixture against Rivers United, who currently sit second in the standings with 21 points. The match is already being billed as the South-South Derby.
