Bournemouth are reported to be interested in signing Celtic’s on-loan Paris Saint-Germain forward Timothy Weah. The Scottish Sun claim Eddie Howe’s spies have been following the American teenager’s progress since he joined the Bhoys on loan in January.

Cherries scout Mark Burchill was spotted watching Weah in action for the US Under-23 side in Spain last month and his form in the Scottish Premiership has seen Crystal Palace credited with an interest. Bournemouth could be looking for a replacement for Callum Wilson with the club expecting bids for the England international in the next transfer window.
Weah, who has hit six goals in total since he joined the Hoops in January, admits he could agree another loan spell with Celtic for next season. After admitting he’s loving his time in Glasgow with the champions, the 19-year-old wouldn’t rule out the possibility of an extended stay.
He said: “I feel like it’s a possibility. It’s something me and my family have to go over at the end of the season. “I am loving it here so far, so we just have to see what happens. “I’m really positive about the situation, happy to be at the club and making the most of these opportunities.”
