Welcome Odion! May this your coming back never ends in regret, ameen.

    • Greenturf 2 years ago

Who are this people thumbing down a prayer??Shocking!

      • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

That’s hatred and personal vendetta at its peak my brother. Some people’s wish is to see Nigeria fail, because they hate Ighalo, because they hate Rohr. They must have started their occultic consecrations by now, pulling all their powers to see Nigeria fail…..but darkness CAN NEVER over come light….NEVER.

        • Greenturf 2 years ago

Correct my brother @Drey light will always overcome darkness

        • Akosa Ike 2 years ago

Big Amen. Doc please please for the recall of Victor Moses.

          • Akosa Ike 2 years ago

Doc please PLEAD for the recall of Victor Moses. I mistakenly wrote please intead of plead.

          • JimmyBall 2 years ago

@Akosa Ike… which one is Doc please plead for the return of VICTOR MOSES? Lol… some folks here the act like say Dr.Drey the share baby milk for them daily here inside feeding bottle… funny! You no even plead to CSN to amplify and push for recall of VICTOR MOSES with their plaform na person wey never sabo road to Glasshouse you the solicit to help Victor Moses lobby… Vic say him them through with Eagles… we could also try to recall Mikel… he has experience!

          • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

Hehehehehe…..that one choke you for spinal cord too…..LMAOOooo. Does Dr.Drey not work for CSN anymore….LMAOOoooo….Or your brain don reset back to default now…? Na this same forum we dey together o wey nobody come ask you for “baby milk”. And nobody hold your hand make you nor “share baby milk” for people the way Dr.Drey dey share in own wey e come dey push fire for your heart so…..LMAOOoo. The jealousy wey go kill you still dey smelt iron-ore for Ajaokuta.

@Akosa Ike….for the umpteenth time, Rohr has always expressed his desire to have Moses and other retirees back. He has severally said the doors are wide open for them, so far they are FIT, PLAYING and most importantly HAVE THE DESIRE to come back. Unfortunately Moses is fit and playing but doesnt have the desire at the moment. Recall he went on similar hiatus after the 2014 world cup only to return shortly before Rohr was appointed. I guess this time he just isn’t willing to rescind on his decision a 2nd time.

Hi ighalo I’m a great fan of yours and I’m happy that you came back to our darling super eagles though they are currently super chicken of Nigeria but I believe with you in the team again we can soar high like an eagle. Connect well with osimhe and bang goals. Jah bless

        I wonder too oo.

  • TALK UR OWN 2 years ago

HE SHOULD BE RULE OUT OF THE TWO GAMES.
    WE DON’T NEED HIM.
    HE HAS NOTHING TO OFFER.

    • Kenneth 2 years ago

Already in camp hmmmm rule out of game hmmmm. Is sense at home so?

      • Chidi 2 years ago

        An element of confusion

        • TALK UR OWN I go talk my own looool…

@TALK UR OWN you are absolutely right bro no, but the deed is done. Now we wait and see what this brainless coach can do with Ighalo that he couldn’t with Osimhen.

Ighalo is lucky Chukuweze, Iwobi and Ndidi are back really he is. Because if you look at the games these three names played in qualifiers you will see that we score more goals when they are on the pitch. Which could work in his favour. It is just so unfortunate and a shame that Awoniyi was not allowed to play with these 3 key players coupled with Iheanacho and Osimhen are the creators of most of our goals of late.

  • Richie 2 years ago

I can only wish him luck.
All eyes on Rohr and this selection

  • Finally!!!! Anyhow and whoever makes the first 11 mine is victory.

    • M. Abbas 2 years ago

Nigeria is the winner my brother. Thank God Odion Ighalo heed our call to rep. Up Nigeria isn’t difficult to type.

    • Abdul 2 years ago

      Exactly….

  • Richie 2 years ago

With Ighalo, Musa and Omeruo (veterans) in that squad, let’s see how they’ll blend.

At this point, everything rises and falls on Rohr, he’s made his choice!

    • Oseodion Inegbenebor 2 years ago

That’s the universal norm, it isn’t new. Though Rohr already has an open and frank communication with his squard and ability to develop a bond with the team, he should ensure they express their love for the game and motivate the lads before every game. They usually hold -keep it real- meetings to ensure players know where they stand at all times

      • Richie 2 years ago

Well, experience counts in every human endeavour (not just soccer), at the end of the day…and, not just any kind of experience…but the RIGHT experience.

We can only hope Ighalo is truly up and sharp for this.

      • Denis 2 years ago

It can’t be truer Sir. I salute!

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

    Woooooooooo!!!!! The King is Back!!!!

  • He is finally back. Nigerians let us bury our various disagreement and let us support tge team. We don’t have to wish eagles bad luck because of ighalo. Best of luck eagles

  • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

This is the part where haters should add some rat poison to their coffee and drink.
After all una rants…..the young man is finally in camp. That is to show that y’all cannot do more than a dead rat.

Rohr say he wants Ighalo, he has Ighalo now. He will be held responsible for whatever success or failure that comes with it…..not anyone else.

Who God no kill, nobody fit kill am…!

    • Richie 2 years ago

      It is what it is!
Straight to the point, Rohr should be held accountable for his decisions, no question

    • Edoman 2 years ago

@Dr Grey. Amen. l am your #1 fan Dr Grey. After reading your seasoned and positive views on Ighalo, l did say to myself. This guy has so much eloquently expressed my views. l can’t add anything else to his meaningful expressions than this l want to thank you for your contributions in this place. Keep it up, man.

  • Oseodion Inegbenebor 2 years ago

We did all the waiting, Odion is finally in camp and for a truth, Nigeria is the winner. Folks, no time for toast or ego trip, let the coach with his squard get down to business in earnest.

  • Presh 2 years ago

Our people are senseless, so is the next general election they will vote those again that will keep them in limbo, did we all not see how Mikel and other pros left, Ighalo was the player who axed himself, now his supporters are here telling us he is Nigeria’s Super Eagles saviour, he is your saviour, don’t get the mix those who dislike Rohr don’t want Ighalo, Amaju nepotism brought Ighalo back as Edo delta things, and musa, shehu the northern click, how did we get here, I would prefer John Ogu back than Ighalo cos he never said he retired, Jude said he’s retiring telling us threat to his family bla bla bla, when he would have apologised how he messed up. Since you fans are celebrating Ighalo let’s know the future was and is bright with or without him. I leave Nigerians with them wahala

  • Oakfield 2 years ago

The eagle has landed! Welcome bro. Glad to see u back. Wish u Godspeed and favour all the way.

  • *Singing* Hallelujah! Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!!!

Now, the front department is more or less sorted. Speed & youth vs Guile & experience. Powerful, long-range shots vs Hold up play & constant 18 yard presence/threat.

That’s what one of the most glaring qualities the SE has been missing since 20019 – in addition to direct wing plays from Moses.

Even those yarning opata (Not all. Some have been constructive) know they can’t get a top, serious job or contract without solid experience – No matter how young and skillful you are. No employer or investor takes that risk – except it’s an entry role.

If you’re untested, then you’re untrusted for the job. That’s why it’s always a mix in teams, departments & companies. Experience for guidance + youth for energy.

When it’s not a make or break match, the untested ones can do 60 to 90 minutes. There are still many more matches and camping starting December.

It’s sheer youthful myopia to say we should go gung-ho for 2 matches in which a dropped point might be mean bye bye to Qatar 2022 – Even if we’re playing Lesotho. And they couldn’t even do the job in Lagos. Besides, all 4 teams know they have a chance, so the stakes are higher.

  • Henry 2 years ago

It is even wonderful he pointed his hands to God.

  • Jossy Llp 2 years ago

Though I like the first 2 goals, his 3rd was simply superb.

  • He has achieved his grand entry. I am sure a lot of psychological assessments was done as making such a you turn on a the back of such a distasteful retirement took some doing coupled with the added pressure being placed on him by a deluded NFF president and parrot coach. Ighalo they have thrown you in the deep end. Lets hope they are not deluded enough to see you as some messiah and think you can match the brute force and youthful exuberance already loaded in the squad. My thing is this if the daft coach cannot get the best out of the youthful weapons loaded in the squad how will he get the best from you now that you are 2 years older over 30 and clearly alot slower I am eagerly awaiting. I wish you the best because that means the best for SE. But I am a realist and hope your coming will not jeopardize the growth and crucial experience gaining period for our up and coming Guns. Which as a realist I know does not benefit SE in the long run.

Fingers crossed I hope you are on at least a level close to that of Osimhen, Iheanacho, Awoniyi and even Onuachu. But as a realist I am not sure you are. Anyway make we see de kin magic wey Pinnick dey expect say you go perform, I dey here dey shine eye well for where u dey. Abeg no go dere go cast ur reputation again o.

    • Chinenye 2 years ago

@Ndubest what do you expect when NFF president calls you to return to National team? Late arrival is permitted joor! This bullcrap can only happened in Nigeria where sentiments, bigotry and nepotism from admistrators down to so called fans is the order of the day.

A controversial retunee arriving late to camp and people are celebrating it,this country has no directions

    Well, He is here.

No matter what part of the fence we are on the re-invitation of Ighalo; hopefully, we close ranks and unite under one purpose;qualifying. Not for anything but for the support of the Eagles we all share.
Saturday is around the corner.we go in with one mind.

  • SE is greater than any player…….My love and loyalty is to SE and I Support the team no matter who is playing…….Go SE go…….We are going to destroy all our opponent in the remaining qualifiers……All the best lads……All the best Rhor……All the best To SE fans all over the world.

  • Edoman 2 years ago

Ighalo is the man. Hate him all you want, you can not take anything away from his talents and/or his abilities. You can cry when Ighalo scores those wonderful goals for Nigeria once again. Osimhen says this very well, that our Ighalo is “his hero and it a joy to play along with his hero”. And our Ighalo says this as well, he said, “l want to give the young ones the opportunity to move forward and if l am wanted, l shall return.” Unfortunately, the haters took that to the Bank. All l can say is, Nigerians, Ighalo is Back. Super Eagle is Back. Thank you Lord.

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

  • De Star 2 years ago

    Dear forum members,

I observed there was a conspiracy from CS regards likes and dislikes votes on all those comments for or against Odion Ighalo. Any comment in favour of Odion there are always predetermined with likes marks when one has not chosen, and all the negative comments against Odion Ighalo all have automatic dislikes on behalf of members , and the member would know this observation until you make attempt to choose either like or dislike yourself .

If you doubt this , please go over any of the previous comments earlier in this section; you would notice that CS would have chosen likes or dislikes on your behalf without you knowing. Therefore; don’t just read comment henceforth but cast your opinion vote otherwise CS will fraudulently do it for you.

Complete sports is a cheat !!

  • Nobody hates Ighalo atleast I can speak for myself…… Wanting a veteran to step aside for young players coming up is not hatred…… Wanting the new generation to try something different or bring something different to the table does make me hate the old generation……If we don’t change this mentality as Nigerians we won’t be able to move forward……Once you criticize the Government it is called hate speech……so everybody should keep quiet and Allow the country burn because we don’t want to be called a hater?…….How did we get here?

    • Mahmud Shuaib 2 years ago

Bro, dont kill yourself over nothing. Thats Nigeria for you. Inagine so called PROGRESSIVES like DRE, OAKFIELD, POMPEI and GREENTURF suddenly thinking with their ANUSES rather than their BRAINS just because they DONT want to AGREE with OMO9jA, JIMMYBALL, IWUNZE etc.

I can bet my life that should the latter TRIO be in favour of IGHALO’s criminal recall, just like JOHN NOBLES’s unpardonable invitation; this forum will never hear word as DR DRE and his co-travelers wull reel out one statistics after the other and tell us 1000 and 1 REASONS why a spent force plying his trade in SUNDAY SUNDAY SAUDI LEAGUE shouldn’t near our NATIONAL TEAM again!

      Nigeria ww hail thee!
A land of double standards and hypocrites.

Little wonder a BUHARI is our PRESIDENT and our Minister of Digital Telecommunications is a sworn terrorist and islamic fundamentalist

      • Mahmud Shuaib 2 years ago

You will never hear or read cerebral OBJECTIVE personalities like DEO
Or HUSH or Prof. TAMU (cant recall the spelling. Lol) support this charade. Never. Not Dr. Dre. He spewks with double mouth always. Was the one to shout top 5 leagues but today it doesnt matter even if the person plays in Malta.

        Confused bunch

In fairness, POMPEI and GREENTURF do shift grounds but Drey’s overbloated ego and infant pride always meant he sticks his guns rather than be seen on same side with JIMMYBALL.

        • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

Hahahahaha….Mahmud James Idoko Shuaibu…..hang yourself because Dr.Drey does not shift grounds to your whims and caprices….LMAOOoo. He is simply not a man who stands for nothing and hence falls for everything…..LMAOOoo.

Your serial defeats in the hands of Dr.Drey as well as your serial failure to bring him down is seriously having a psychological effect on you…..LMAOooo

Mahmud Shuaibu indeed……LMAOoooo….Obviously your brains refused to develop when your body was growing. When you are done fooling yourself you will crawl back into your hole.

        • JimmyBall 2 years ago

…@Dr.Drey…Hahahaha! I am now Mahmud Shuaib. Lol… This is the same trick Zeus applies flying from one alias to another and he thinks I do it it. I have only once in a while made the mistake of inputing my real name where I have to type name because I have to always select cached usernames on my device from a lot of electronic payment platforms that I have automatedly stored on my device… I have asked mates here to verify me on facebook and whatsapp sp nothing is hidden brother Drey… I am neither “1naija”, “One 9ja” or “Mahmud Shuaib”… the guy @Mahmud Shuaib” just like @Pompei (Sometimes…”, @Mr.Hush and @Deo is one guy with a balanced view on this forum and you wont be popular with @Dr.Drey if you dont sing his Hallelujah tone with the usual reckless abandon… Lol. Now Ighalo is coming back and Rohr is ready to switch pattern to playing twin strikeforce now… when we say they are deliberately emplying tactics to shut people out of the team some will start wailing and throwing stones… why not switch tactics and accomodate Awoniyi and Osimhen, Awoniyi and Sadiq, Sadiq and Osimhen? The only way I will not wish Ighalo to miss anothen open net when the chance comes again is if Victor Moses is also back… Ighalo who has no calm when faced a game winning top chance… I will suggest he is started in both games against Liberia and Cape Verde let us see the new verve he is coming with from Arabia… I hope he has not turned Arab Contractor? Lol… one love guys… all for fun! @Dr.Drey… have you given up on finding Victor Ikpeba’s missing caps?

          • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

Hahahahaha……What your intelligence cant phantom yet is that writing is like speaking and reading is like listening. Every piece of writing has a voice, especially one that has been learned overtime by consistent reading. You dont assume someone’s voice, your hear it, recognize and decipher it. .

Once again when you are done fooling yourself, you will crawl back into your hole. You cannot even hide your lettering identity to save your life…….LMAOooo.

Going defensive when no one has asked you already is your bane…..LMAOoooo….once again keep fooling yourself. Your toxic and corrosive jealousy of Dr.Drey is second to none, you cant hide it no matter how hard you try. That’s why changing names never helps you.

You will see ikpeba’s missing caps, the same Ikpeba you claimed you watch in the french league via multichoice IN 1993 (even though Multichioce themselves say then open in Nigeria in 1995), the day you can establish your lies that Ikpeba only had 2 caps at USA 94 and didnt have a 3rd cap until 1995 vs England.

You just never get tired of ridiculing yourself…..LMAOOo. Dont worry, as always, I can assist you with that, be my guest.

        • “…Was the one to shout top 5 leagues but today it doesnt matter even if the person plays in Malta…”___says @Mahmud shuaib.

Oga @Mahmud with due respect your opinion which u and your self are entitled to, when oga Rohr raised this standard which would have helped our young lads to aspire for something big, hell almost got loosed….

Omo9ja gathered his bathalion from every ends of the local biome called Nigeria to protest against an idea that would have seen our boys norminated for top awards in Africa.

They gave us their own selfish, belly-driven & greedy reasons which made the Coach, we the PROGRESSIVE people to tone down our guest for top 5 league players.

But is this their selfish idea of any help to the players and the national team? Capital N O….

How can we claim to have the most talented squard in Africa yet the last time I checked non of our own was considered good enough to feature in Africa first XI.

Moses remain the last SE player to be shortlisted for African footballer of the year award last round.

So when you see us and the coach trying to calm down, it’s just bcos of the weeping, wailing and gnarshing of teeth of our cry-cry babies.

We want to Carry them along bcos even the Bible says that the good and the bad should grow together untill the final day of selection.

And sometimes we want peace to reign.

Finally, I want to also use this medium to beg u and others revolting against the invitation of ighalo to the national team to pls tone down their agitation.

I personally see nothing wrong in that.

If Paul scholes should return to Man United and help them win EPL that season, it’s never a crime if ighalo does same…

In 2006 zidane return to the national team and help France get to the final.

Beckamp makalele, Carlos rebeto, roja Mila, Martins et all once retired and later come out of retirement to help their national teams.

Ighalo isn’t the first and can’t be the last… Let’s take it easy with him…. He’s still our own anyday anytime.

          ***SHALOM***

          • @UBFE abi UBEF or UBER. Wettin dey worry you for brain??????.. have you taken your panado today?….

That is the point we have been singing the calibre we have now even the last player you mentioned Victor Moses with all due respect to him. Did not become the most expensive player in Africa. And also did not have Bayern Munich wanting to break bank for. Victor Moses did not even come close to achieving that feet. I think the problem we have in Nigeria is simple fans create bonds with players from the past and find it hard to detach and see the value in up and coming which is normal and it actually takes our people longer to see the truth before thier eyes because the truth this is probably the best generation we have had since 94..No team even the 90s’ squad had This much Talent. NIGERIA Is already considered to have arguably the best attack in Africa by Fifa talkless of CAf. You are also woefully wrong Ndidi is considered by CAF as one of the best CDM if not the best In Africa today. We know English Premier League already Considers him the best, I mean he will probably line up for Man U as early as Jan or Feb 2022. Did you even try and cast your mind to Rohr anthem we don’t have Stars bla bla bla up until recently mind you this anthem was at its peak in ighalo heyday.. Do yourself a Favour and look at how the World media describes Osimhen and Wilfred Ndidi. Go check it out bro. These two players Nigeria have not had players of these two’s quality in a long Long Long time. Throw Chukwueze in there too. EJUKE too. @UBFE don’t fool yourself you have never seen anything like it. And there is more the coach is just not tapping into.

Again don’t not ever try re write history. You and your likes have always supported every one of Rohrs Deciisons you are one of the Ring leaders who only started giving Victor Osimhen a chance you swore to the ends of the earth that he never deserved to start in The Afcon over Ighalo in the debates we had during Afcon 2019 and Alas this point is proved as fast forward 2 years later Osimhen has proved himself x20 to your likes but the Ighalo who abandoned you 2yrs hops back in the picture and we are at it again. Aren’t
Nigerians funny hence we are cool that a 90 year old is our president oh I forgot he has political experience looool… back to the matter you have always supported the idea of Musa remaining Captain of SE come rain or sunshine even if he has to eventually perform the task with walking stick. @UBFE do not ever change the history of topics and debates we have had on CSN.. you and your Co horts will also spare no mind in insulting our true legends I.e. Okocha and Kanu the ones you shamefully give credit to now when you supported people who disgustingly tarnished thier image in order to protect their dis orientated notion of criminally mentioning Musa name in the same breath as legends of world football talkless of Nigeria (I.e. Okocha and Kanu)

@UBFE you have always blindly supported Rohr as you continue to blindly support him Today.

          • Oh and by the way I still have a suspicion You and Drey are cloned.

          • Mahmud Shuaib 2 years ago

I appreciate your decorum filled rejoinder to my post sir @UBFE but TBT, Zidane returned to WC 2012 still at the peak of his powers

SCHOLES to still be able to play and help MAN UTD win an EPL shows just like IBRA, CR7, MESSI etc to still be at the peak of his powers.

IGHALO if still at the peak of his powers shouldn’t be playing in SAUDI my brother.

Anyways, no need crying pver a spilled AKAMU…but we MUST NOT stand TRUTH on its head just because we dont want to move to the other side or see reasons with people we perceive our CSL SWORN ENEMIES…LOL

            Pls enjoy your Saturday!

            Goodluck SE
