Brentford have joined Rangers in the race for Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Alebiosu, Completesports.com reports.
Rangers have identified Alebiosu as a potential replacement for former captain James Tavernier.
Brentford, meanwhile, are reportedly targeting him as another option for Italy international Michael Kayode.
Both clubs sent scouts to monitor the defender during a pre-season match, but he missed the game due to illness.

Alebiosu joined Blackburn Rovers from Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk for a fee of around £500k last summer.
The Nigeria international quickly established himself as a key figure at Ewood Park, scoring once and providing five assists in 39 Championship appearances.
The right-back is also attracting interest from clubs in Italy and Germany.
Blackburn Rovers rejected a €5 million bid from Italian club Genoa for the player in January.
