Nigeria’s Beach Eagles have been drawn against Mauritania in the Beach Soccer AFCON 2024 qualifiers.
Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the draw on Thursday on their X handle.
The football body also confirmed the pairings for six other qualifiers.
In other pairings, Guinea will face defending champions Senegal, Angola will take on Morocco and Ghana will battle Cote d’Ivoire.

The other pairings is Tanzania vs Uganda, Seychelles vs Mozambique and Burundi vs Malawi.
The first legs of the qualifiers is billed for 19 – 21 July 2024 while the second legs will hold on 26 – 28 July.
The seven countries that will emerge from the qualifiers will join host Egypt for the 2024 Beach Soccer AFCON.
Beach Eagles have won the Beach Soccer AFCON twice, in 2007 and 2009.
The last time they featured in the final was in the 2018 edition where they lost 6-1 to Senegal.
The Senegalese are the reigning champions of the tournament and are the most successful team with seven titles.
Also, they have won the last four editions of the Beach Soccer AFCON.
