Bayern Munich restored their four-point lead in the Bundesliga with a comfortable 5-2 home win against Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena on Saturday night.
The hosts took the lead in the 17th minute after Leon Goretzka tapped home Thomas Muller’s cross.
It was Muller’s 17th assist and he now leads the league in assists together with Jadon Sancho.
Muller doubled Bayern’s lead just before half time following a sublime cross by Alphonse Davies.

Robert Lewandowski scored the third for the home side a minute after the break, his 27th goal of the campaign.
Frankfurt fought back with two goals in the 52nd and 55th minutes through Austrian Martin Hinteregger.
Davies got his second of the game in the 61st minute to make the scoreline 4-2, while Hinteregger scored a third, this time on his own goal in the 74th minute.
Bayern now head into Tuesday’s big match at Dortmund in spectacular form, having won 16 of their last 17 games in all competitions.
